CBB DFS: DraftKings Daily Fantasy College Basketball Picks - Today's Top Lineups (2/19/25)

Mark Sears - CBB DFS Picks, NCAA Daily College Fantasy Basketball

Today's DraftKings CBB DFS lineup picks for 2/19/25. Mike M's top daily fantasy college basketball sleepers to build winning NCAA DFS lineups on DraftKings.

The NBA is still on break, but you can scratch that DFS itch with the college guys again. The NBA may return tomorrow, but we'll get you through that last lonely night. We have 15 games across two slates again tonight!

We've got some big names and some great matchups today. We'll go through all of those for each slate. We'll give you the core pieces to build a cash or GPP lineup. Then, we'll have some value plays to make it all fit. And for you Ricky Bobby types, we'll give you guys a great ceiling with a low floor because "if you ain't first, you're last."

Here are my picks across all CBB DFS slates on Wednesday, February 19, with the main slate starting at 6:30 p.m. EST on DraftKings. The late slate starts at 9 p.m. EST.

Today's Main Slate DraftKings CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Best Matchups:

Oregon vs. Iowa

North Carolina wings vs. North Carolina State

Notre Dame guards vs. SMU

Vanderbilt forwards vs. Kentucky

Nebraska forwards vs. Penn State

Core Pieces:

Brice Williams, Nebraska ($10K)

Nebraska needed a miracle. The college basketball Gods sent Brice Williams. He has scored at least 20 points in six straight games. Nebraska has won five of those games. Williams is the catalyst spurring this run by Nebraska. We can count on him (finally).

Matt Cross, SMU ($8.2K)

Cross remains arguably the most consistent player in college basketball this year, at least for DFS purposes. He has only been under 24 DraftKings points once since taking the starting job on November 18. He has topped 30 in 11 games, including more than 40 in two of those. He's a strong play in all formats.

Jackson Shelstad, Oregon ($7.5K)

I'm always reluctant to trust Shelstad since his flashes of brilliance are often marred by inconsistency. He has at least 25 DraftKings points in five straight games and has one of the best matchups on the slate tonight. If he's going to have a monster game, it should come against Iowa.

Value Pieces:

Drake Powell, North Carolina ($5K)

Powell has played at least 22 minutes in six straight games. He has scored in double figures in DraftKings points in all six of those. Powell has played at least 25 minutes in three straight. Things are looking up for Powell, even though he still comes off the bench.

Oswin Erhunmwunse, Providence ($4.9K)

Erhunmwunse hasn't been under double figures in DraftKings points since December 7. His minutes are sometimes sporadic due to foul trouble, but the production is still there. He put up 23 DraftKings points in 22 minutes in the first game against Georgetown.

Brandon Angel, Oregon ($4.8K)

Angel has nine straight games in double figures in DraftKings points. He has cleared 15 DK points in eight of those and gone over 20 three times. This is a strong value play in a great matchup.

Slate-Breaking Potential:

Micah Peavy, Georgetown ($9.9K)

The only reason that I have Peavy here is because what he has done in the last four games is unprecedented. This was already by far his best collegiate season. He has been on another level in the last four games.

Peavy has averaged 22.2 points, 6.7 rebounds, 5.0 assists, 2.7 steals, and 0.3 blocks in those four games. That comes out to 44.4 DraftKings points per game. His upside may be the highest on the entire slate.

Javon Small, West Virginia ($9.4K)

Small has cleared 40 DraftKings points nine times in 25 games. He topped 50 in two of those. One of those (and the most recent) 40+ point games was against the Bearcats 17 days ago. I wouldn't be shocked to see him do it again.

Ian Jackson, North Carolina ($6K)

Jackson hit his freshman wall when the Tar Heels got healthy. His minutes have been sporadic since, as has hit output. His 23-point outburst against the Orange over the weekend shows what Jackson is still capable of. It was his best total since January 4. Can he keep it going? For this price, it's worth finding out in a GPP.

Today's Late Slate DraftKings CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Best Matchups:

Oklahoma State guards vs. Central Florida

Central Florida vs. Oklahoma State

Missouri vs. Alabama

Florida State guards vs. Miami (FL)

Washington guards vs. Rutgers

Core Pieces:

Kadary Richmond, St. John's ($10.8K)

Richmond was the best player on an average Seton Hall team last year and struggled to find his place at St. John's. Now, he has at least 40 DraftKings points in five of the last seven games. He has been above 44 in four of the last five. It's happening, folks. The potential we saw from Richmond at times last year has been showing up in every game in the 2025 calendar year.

Donovan Dent, New Mexico ($9.4K)

Dent has at least 32 DraftKings points in eight straight games. He hasn't been under 28 since December 28. He's one of the most consistent producers around at any position and any cost.

Divine Ugochukwu, Miami (FL) ($5K)

There are still a ton of minutes available for Ugochukwu. I'll let the little hiccup against Pitt slip. It wasn't all that bad, but it did break a streak of three straight games over 20 DraftKings points. A new streak starts tonight.

Value Pieces:

Franck Kepnang, Washington ($5K)

Is this the jumping-off point for Kepnang? The Huskies have treated him with kid gloves since his return, but he nuked the Penn State frontcourt last time out and has a similarly favorable matchup here.

DJ Davis, Washington ($4.5K)

Davis hasn't seen his minutes increase much lately, but he has hit at least three three-point shots in each of the last three games. That has propelled him to at least 18 DraftKings points in each of those games. He's on a roll in a great matchup. I love the potential here.

Jalil Bethea, Miami (FL) ($4.2K)

Bethea has played 61 minutes over the last two games, putting up 50.5 DraftKings points in that span. I don't know if the production is here to stay or not, but Miami needs all of the offense it can get. Bethea is a solid option until he cools off.

Slate-Breaking Potential:

Keyshawn Hall, Central Florida ($9.2K)

Hall has been remarkably consistent of late, scoring over 31 DraftKings points in seven straight games. He's in this spot because he has the best matchup on the slate and we've seen him clear 50 DraftKings points twice in the last month. The potential is there for it to happen again.

Dylan Harper, Rutgers ($7.8K)

Harper may be the only player in this price range who has a ceiling in the 50s. He has cleared 50 DraftKings points three times this year. One of those was against Illinois just two weeks ago. Never lose sight of Harper, especially at this price, in a good matchup.

Mark Sears, Alabama ($7.1K)

One can argue that Sears cost himself a princely signing bonus by coming back to school this year. Sears still has that ceiling, but he has been mired in a slump lately. His team is not. That says more about the team around him than Sears himself, but he still has that kind of potential and the price keeps dropping.
