Nick Chubb start or sit advice. Fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 12 (2024). Should I start or sit Nick Chubb for fantasy football?
BALLER MOVE: Start in all 12-team formats
POSITIONAL VALUE: Low-end RB2 with upside potential
ANALYSIS: Nick Chubb has had a long road back to the field after suffering a devastating knee injury that cost him nearly all of the 2023 season and a good portion of 2024. When healthy, Chubb has been one of the most dominant and reliable running backs in the NFL, known for his combination of power, vision, and explosiveness.
Now that he’s back in action, fantasy managers are eager to see if he can regain his elite form. However, Week 12 presents a tough matchup for Chubb, as the Browns face off against a physical Pittsburgh Steelers defense. The Steelers have been strong against the run, which could limit Chubb’s ceiling.
Nonetheless, with six teams on a bye this week, options are thin, and Chubb’s talent and role in the offense make him hard to bench. Even in a challenging matchup, Chubb is the type of player who can turn a tough situation into a productive fantasy outing.
Im dead serious when I say 24 is so close to breaking one- the cuts, the vision, the burst
Sunday he had his best yards per carry (4.5) of the season
Tomorrows weather calls for heavy rain & 16mph winds

Adding to the intrigue is the expected poor weather for Thursday Night's game in Cleveland. If the conditions make passing difficult, the Browns may lean more heavily on their ground game, allowing Chubb to see increased volume.
While he’s not the slam-dunk start he might be in a more favorable matchup, Chubb remains a strong RB2 option this week with the potential to surprise if game flow and weather cooperate.
