NBA DFS: Top Daily Fantasy Expert Picks for DraftKings, FanDuel (11/10/24)

Nikola Jokic - NBA DFS Lineup Picks, Betting Picks, Daily Fantasy Basketball

Free daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for today's slate on DraftKings and FanDuel. Use Kyle Ringstad's NBA DFS expert picks to building winning DFS lineups on November 10th, 2024.

It’s great to be back in the swing of things in the NBA, RotoBallers. In these articles, I focus on the top plays, traditionally geared toward cash games. However, with over a decade of NBA DFS experience under my belt—and as someone who rarely dives into cash formats—I'm selecting picks that also typically come with high upside. That means they offer the steady floor needed for cash games while packing the high ceiling we need for tournaments.

We have a solid seven-game NBA slate tonight, tipping off with three games at 7:00 PM EST. The Mavericks-Nuggets and Raptors-Lakers games are set up as the top matchups to target in daily fantasy, but the Kings-Suns game is also intriguing, and we'll need to explore the remaining teams to dig out some value. I believe Anthony Davis and Nikola Jokic are the premier options, but we'll have to do some work to make them both fit into lineups we're comfortable with rolling out.

The key to succeeding in NBA DFS is making adjustments during the day as injury information becomes available. But it's always essential to have a game plan and zero in on the best players and spots before making those adjustments. To keep up with all the latest developments and get access to updated projections, grab an NBA season pass and access our RotoBaller Premium Discord, where @chiefjustice6 is talking about the slate up until lineups lock!

This article will provide my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 11/10/24. Remember to monitor NBA injury news and our excellent NBA injuries report tool, as the slate can completely change before lineups lock at 7:00 p.m. EST on FanDuel and DraftKings. Good luck, RotoBallers!

Today's NBA DFS Core Picks

Here is a look at some of the higher-priced players we can use as building blocks for cash and GPP contests.

This is glorious. Nikola Jokic and Anthony Davis are two of my favorite players to utilize in DFS contests due to their high floors and ceilings, and we have enough value on tonight's slate to roster them both. Dallas has defended opposing centers well with their talented frontcourt, but Jokic is a different beast, especially with his current form. He's averaging a mind-blowing 75.4 DK PPG over his last three contests and 69.8 DK PPG for the season.

Davis has shown a much lower average and ceiling, but we could see an outlier 60-70+ DK point game from him tonight. The Raptors allow the fifth-most FPPG overall and the third-most FPPG to Cs, and this game has the highest total and fastest projected pace on the slate. As long as this game stays relatively competitive, AD will smash his price tag.

Lastly, Devin Booker is in an excellent spot to crush his price tag with Kevin Durant out of the picture. Booker will take on extra usage in a favorable game environment against the Kings, and he'll be a piece we need in lineups if he can start hitting shots at his career average rate.

  1. Nikola Jokic, DEN vs. DAL - C ($11,800 DK; $12,200 FD)
  2. Anthony Davis, LAL vs. TOR - C ($10,600 DK; $11,000 FD)
  3. Devin Booker, PHX vs. SAC - PG/SG ($8,100 DK; $8,400 FD)

Today's NBA DFS Value Picks

This is where we talk about saving salary. Whether it's a severely underpriced backup or even as simple as a guy playing like someone who should be priced higher, this is where you'll find guys who make lineups work.

Sorting the best value picks of the day by fantasy points per dollar for players priced at $6,000 or less:

We have a lot of value to work with, and there will surely be more pieces to pop up as we get a clearer picture with injury updates. However, many of the best values are at center, where we want to play Jokic and Davis. Royce O'Neale is an obvious candidate, as he's cheap and should play around 30 minutes with Durant out. That will get the job done with his 0.9 FPTS/min rate, but I don't love his chances at providing any ceiling game.

Aaron Wiggins and Isaiah Joe are intriguing pieces. They won't pop off for a monster output, but they're underpriced for what they bring to the table in their low-20 minutes. The final player I'll highlight here is Peyton Watson. He only needs 22 DK points to hit 5x value, and he has finished well over that mark in each of his last three games (29.25, 25.75, 28.75 DK points).

Top Value Plays:

  1. Royce O'Neale, PHX vs. SAC - SF/PF ($4,400 DK; $5,200 FD)
  2. Aaron Wiggins, OKC vs. GSW - SF/PF ($3,400 DK) DraftKings Only
  3. Peyton Watson, DEN vs. DAL - PF ($4,400 DK) DraftKings Only

Today's NBA DFS Picks: Point Guard

Devin Booker has already been established as my top pick here, but there are many routes to take in this position. Stephen Curry, Jamal Murray, and Sha Gilgeous-Alexander are three less-popular high-priced options that can be mixed in, but I'll be saving my salary for AD and Jokic up top. My mid-range options at PG tonight are Austin Reaves, Tyus Jones, and Tre Mann. Reaves' minutes are the most concrete, but Jones and Mann have more upside in their respective matchups.

Top PG Options:

  1. Devin Booker, PHX vs. SAC ($8,100 DK; $8,400 FD)
  2. Austin Reaves, LAL vs. TOR ($6,500 DK; $7,400 FD) DraftKings Preferred
  3. Tyus Jones, PHX vs. SAC ($5,100 DK; $5,400 FD)

Today's NBA DFS Picks: Shooting Guard

Brandon Miller is underpriced on both sites. He has been inconsistent over the five games played this season, but he flashed his immense upside with a 52.5 DK point game against the Pacers his last time out. The game environment is terrible, and the 76ers guard SGs and SFs well, but we can't ignore a 29/6/6/1/1 line for a player priced at just $6,300.

Isaiah Joe is attractive at $3,300 but doesn't hold much upside as his minutes are capped on a talented OKC roster. I'm more willing to get to players like Reaves, Mann, Grayson Allen, and Donte DiVincenzo. Allen will see a bump in minutes and can crush value if his shot is falling, and DiVincenzo is too cheap for the 32.2 DK PPG he is averaging over his last three games.

Top SG Options:

  1. Brandon Miller, CHA @ PHI ($6,300 DK; $7,100 FD)
  2. Donte DiVincenzo, MIN vs. MIA ($4,800 DK) DraftKings Only
  3. Grayson Allen, PHX vs. SAC ($3,800 DK; $4,100 FD)

Today's NBA DFS Picks: Small Forward

O'Neale, Wiggins, Miller, and Allen also qualify at small forward. Michael Porter Jr., Bradley Beal, Jalen Williams, and LeBron James are other mid-to-high-priced options to consider, but I won't heavily prioritize them, with AD and Jokic being my core plays. My main focus here will be O'Neale and Miller, though cheaper players like Cody Martin, Naji Marshall, Luguentz Dort, and Christian Braun can all be mixed in as value-fillers.

Top SF Options:

  1. Royce O'Neale, PHX vs. SAC ($4,400 DK; $5,200 FD)
  2. Cody Martin, CHA @ PHI ($4,000 DK) DraftKings Only
  3. Aaron Wiggins, OKC vs. GSW ($3,400 DK) DraftKings Only

Caleb Martin, Klay Thompson, Jalen Williams, and Jerami Grant are top SF options at their pricing on FanDuel.

Today's NBA DFS Picks: Power Forward

O'Neale, Wiggins, and MPJ also qualify as power forwards, so we'll focus on other players in this section. Santi Aldama is appropriately priced for his workload and productivity, but we could be in for a ceiling game from him as Portland is allowing the third-most FPPG overall, and it should be a high-paced matchup. On the other side of the same game, Jerami Grant gets a Memphis team that has allowed the second-most FPPG to SFs this season. Someone has to step up for the Blazers, and we know Grant can do so, as we've seen him do it before.

Jaren Jackson Jr. can be played, as he's in a smash spot against Portland, but he's a bit too expensive for my tastes. Peyton Watson is my favorite value selection of this group. He's playing over 30 minutes and scoring 25+ DK points in each of his last three starts, and now he gets a great game environment at a cheap price tag.

Top PF Options:

  1. Peyton Watson, DEN vs. DAL ($4,400 DK) DraftKings Only
  2. Jaren Jackson Jr., MEM @ POR ($7,900 DK; $8,000 FD) FanDuel Preferred
  3. Santi Aldama, MEM @ POR ($6,100 DK; $6,000 FD)

Today's NBA DFS Picks: Center

As you may have gathered already, Jokic and AD are my favorite plays on the slate (in that order). Jokic is playing on another level right now, and while the Dallas frontcourt might slow him down a bit, that could mean he only gets 65 DK points instead of 80+. Davis is playing great ball, too, and he gets a Raptors frontcourt that does not have a player with any chance of stopping him. He put up 64.75 DK points on this team on 11/1.

Jusuf Nurkic, Daniel Gafford, Zach Edey, Deandre Ayton, Chet Holmgren, and Bam Adebayo are other targets at this position, but they will be lightly used in my lineups. One player to hone in on from this group is Adebayo, who has the top positional advantage on the slate going up against the Wolves. Minnesota has allowed the eighth-most FPPG to Cs this season, so Bam could be in store for another ceiling game in this spot.

Top C Options:

  1. Nikola Jokic, DEN vs. DAL ($11,800 DK; $12,200 FD)
  2. Anthony Davis, LAL vs. TOR ($10,600 DK; $11,000 FD)
  3. Bam Adebayo, MIA @ MIN ($8,000 DK; $7,900 FD)

Today's Top NBA DFS Game Stacks

  1. Mavericks vs. Nuggets (o/u 233.5)
  2. Raptors @ Lakers (o/u 235.5)

Today's Top NBA DFS Avoids

It's a scary fade, but I won't play SGA on tonight's slate. He hasn't been good enough to warrant consideration at his salary, as he has failed to exceed 50 DK points in six consecutive games coming into tonight's action. He's also facing the Warriors, who have allowed the fifth-least FPPG to PGs this season.

My Favorite NBA DFS Picks for Today

Here is where I leave you with some of my favorites.

  • My favorite overall play on the slate: Nikola Jokic
  • My favorite CASH play on the slate: Royce O'Neale
  • My favorite GPP play on the slate: Donte DiVincenzo
  • My favorite value play: Brandon Miller
