Bub Means fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 7 (2024). Our advice on whether you should start or sit Bub Means for fantasy lineups.
BALLER MOVE: Sit in All Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR67
ANALYSIS: New Orleans Saints wide receiver Bub Means was the 170th overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. Many non-Saint fans hadn’t heard of him until last week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The rookie receiver had one target and zero fantasy points over the first five weeks.
However, Means had five receptions on eight targets for 45 receiving yards, a touchdown, and 13 half-point PPR fantasy points in Week 6. He was Spencer Rattler’s go-to receiver, with Chris Olave leaving the game early with a concussion. Unfortunately, the Saints will be without Olave and Rashid Shaheed (knee) for Thursday night’s matchup against the Denver Broncos.
The Saints are without Chris Olave and Rashid Shaheed on TNF.
Bub Means led the rest of the WR room in Week 6 in:
Snaps 50
Targets 8
Receptions 5
Yards 45
TDs 1— Underdog NFL (@Underdog__NFL) October 16, 2024
While some fantasy players will want to start Means with Olave and Shaheed out of the lineup, the matchup is far from ideal. The Broncos have held wide receivers to only 17.6 fantasy points per game, the fewest in the NFL.
