DraftKings Evening CFB DFS Lineup Picks: Daily College Fantasy Football (10/12/24)

Jeremiah Smith - College Football Rankings, NCAA CFB DFS Lineup Picks

Mike's DraftKings daily fantasy college football lineup picks for Saturday's Evening Slate (10/12/24). His CFB DFS lineup picks and DFS sleepers will help you win.

Our prime-time slate is a bit smaller, but there are some mighty big games in here tonight. The appetizers are Washington State and Fresno from the Valley and Florida and Tennessee from Knoxville. It gets better!

It's a night game in Death Valley with Ole Miss in town. Ohio State heads to Eugene for maybe the biggest on-campus game in Oregon history. SEC darling Vanderbilt heads to Lexington to take on Kentucky. Iowa State is in Morgantown to face the couch burners. We end the slate in Raleigh with Syracuse in town to take on the Pack.

In this article, I will provide you with my daily fantasy college football lineup picks for DraftKings on 10/12/24, locking at 7 p.m. EDT. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions for players at quarterback, running back, and wide receiver, aiming to highlight one option at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Quarterbacks

John Mateer, Washington State ($10.4K)

Fresno has been gouged by running quarterbacks this season. Mateer should go over 100 rushing yards for the third time in six games tonight. He has also topped 300 passing yards in each of the last two games. This Fresno defense is one of the worst in college football right now. Mateer is in for a huge game, so pay up!

Mikey Keene, Fresno State ($8.1K)

Let's not pretend that Washington State's defense is great either. San Jose State and Boise State both had their way with the Cougs. Keene has been plagued by turnovers this year, but Fresno has played the ball-hawking secondaries of Michigan and UNLV. It gets much easier here for Keene.

Diego Pavia, Vanderbilt ($6.4K)

Do you want to count him out after last week? I won't be that guy. His numbers weren't eye-popping against Bama, but he only had four incompletions in 20 passes and didn't turn the ball over. He can have another game like that against the Wildcats.

Also consider: Kyle McCord, Syracuse ($9.4K); Garrett Nussmeier, LSU ($8.4K); Rocco Becht, Iowa State ($6K); CJ Bailey, North Carolina State ($4.9K)

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Running Backs

Dylan Sampson, Tennessee ($9.2K)

Florida is 110th out of 134 FBS teams in rush defense this year. The Florida pass defense isn't the problem. It's the inability to stop the run. The Gators shut down R.J. Harvey last week, but I'm not worried. Tennessee is much better than UCF on the line and Sampson is just a better back.

Henry Parrish Jr., Mississippi ($6.5K)

Parrish has nine rushing touchdowns in the last five games for the Rebels. Jaxson Dart gets most of the attention, but Parrish could be the key to this game for Ole Miss. LSU's run defense is in the middle of the pack this year. Parrish will have plenty of chances to get loose.

Caden Durham, LSU ($5K)

The Ole Miss run defense has been good, but they have also played a bunch of poor running teams that fell behind early. Durham racked up 217 total yards and two touchdowns on just 10 touches against South Alabama before the bye. Durham is the playmaker that LSU was missing in the early going. There is no way he should be this cheap.

Also consider: LeQuint Allen, Syracuse ($8.3K); Malik Sherrod, Fresno State ($5.1K); Jaylon Jackson, Iowa State ($4K)

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Wide Receivers

Jeremiah Smith, Ohio State ($7.1K)

Smith has been very consistent for the Buckeyes so far. Of course, the Buckeyes haven't been involved in a close game yet. Last week was close until halftime, but the Buckeyes ran off in the third quarter. Expect the freshman to have a strong showing in Oregon tonight.

Kyle Williams, Washington State ($6.3K)

Williams has 17 receptions for 280 yards and two touchdowns over the last two games. It's not a coincidence that Mateer has become more pass-happy of late. It's easy when you have an elite receiver like Williams out there. He has the highest ceiling on the slate.

Jayden Higgins, Iowa State ($5.9K)

Higgins wasn't supposed to be the star receiver on this team. It is supposed to be Jaylin Noel. Teams have rolled coverage over to Noel, so credit Rocco Becht for looking toward the lesser-covered Higgins. Higgins has at least 16 DraftKings points in all five games. The price is becoming more indicative of the production, but he had his first 100-yard game of the season last week.

Aaron Anderson, LSU ($4.2K)

The production has varied amongst LSU receivers, but Anderson has remained consistent. He has five or six receptions in every game while posting between 60 and 100 receiving yards. That's a great floor for a bargain play!

Also consider: Tre Harris, Mississippi ($9.1K); Trebor Pena, Syracuse ($6.9K); Mac Dalena, Fresno State ($6K); Oronde Gadsden II, Syracuse ($5.8K);

DraftKings CFB Stacks

Washington State

Mateer and Kyle Williams are expensive, but Wayshawn Parker, Kris Hutson, and Josh Meredith are not. The Washington State defense is bad enough to let Fresno hang around, which could result in big games for all five of these players.

Syracuse

The North Carolina State defense has been pretty bad this season. Syracuse has an explosive offense that can get to them. McCord, Allen, and Gadsden are all elite plays. Jackson Meeks and Trebor Pena round out the stack if you want another five-man.

Also consider: Fresno State, Tennessee
