Allen Lazard fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 6 (2024). Should you start or sit Allen Lazard for fantasy football lineups?
BALLER MOVE: Start in 14+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR4
ANALYSIS: New York Jets wide receiver Allen Lazard has found the end zone four times this season, showing a clear chemistry with quarterback Aaron Rodgers. He's second on the team in receiving yards with 240, second in targets with 33, and has as many receiving touchdowns as all other Jets' players combined.
The problem is that he's facing a Buffalo Bills defense that's been locked down against the wide receivers. They've allowed just 24.8 PPR fantasy points per game to wide receivers, the fifth fewest in the NFL. The Jets offense is also in disarray, with the demotion of offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett from playcalling duties.

Lazard is too touchdown-dependent and facing too tough of a defense to be start-worthy outside of deeper leagues. The Bills are also horrible against the run, meaning the Jets should lean into a more ground-heavy game plan, which could limit Rodgers' pass attempts. It's fine to start him if you're in a deep league, but otherwise, he should stay on the bench for now.
