CFB DFS Rankings for Week 7 - Daily Fantasy College Football (Saturday, 10/12/24)

Quinn Ewers - College Football Rankings, NCAA CFB DFS Lineup Picks

Brad's CFB DFS rankings for Week 7 on 10/12/24. His daily fantasy college football rankings for QBs, RBs, and WRs and the DFS slates on DraftKings and FanDuel.

Week 7 of the college football season likely has more questions coming into it than previous weeks. We have injury concerns with several teams, a pending natural disaster that could change games, and the looming concern of players leaving via the portal if they are not happy with their roles.

However, there are still a few teams and matchups that appear to be locked to look at this week. Pitt continues to play at a breakneck pace, which gives Desmond Reid and Eli Holstein great floors, while Alabama will look to return to form against South Carolina. Also, look to the suddenly red-hot Clemson Tigers for some high-upside plays in GPP stacks this weekend.

In this article below, you will find my CFB DFS lineup picks for Week 7 (Saturday, October 12) via my positional college football rankings. Use these CFB DFS rankings when building daily fantasy college football on DraftKings, and be sure to read the rest of our CFB DFS articles and CFB betting articles as well. Good luck, RotoBallers!

CFB DFS Quarterback Rankings

QB Cash Rankings Per $ QB GPP Rankings Per $
1 Eli Holstein 1 Eli Holstein
2 Cade Klubnik 2 Jalen Milroe
3 Riley Leonard 3 Cade Klubnik
4 Jalen Milroe 4 Riley Leonard
5 Tyler Shough 5 Quinn Ewers
6 Haynes King 6 Jake Retzlaff
7 Drew Allar 7 Anthony Colandrea
8 Fernando Mendoza 8 Haynes King
9 Quinn Ewers 9 LaNorris Sellers
10 Jake Retzlaff 10 Tyler Shough

The top of the quarterback list is strong this week as the top-4 options all have a massive floor and huge upside. Holstein has been the most consistent, while Klubnik, Leonard, and Milroe have all flashed massive upside. It would be wise to fit in two of these four in your cash-game lineups.

On the GPP side, there are some interesting ways to go this week outside of the top four. Quinn Ewers is likely to return from injury in a huge rivalry game and will likely be rostered at a much lower rate than if fully healthy. If you are looking to go extra cheap, LaNorris Sellers has all the physical tools to compete, and Alabama just gave up a big game to Diego Pavia in its last outing.

CFB DFS Running Back Rankings

RB Cash Rankings Per $ RB GPP Rankings Per $
1 Desmond Reid 1 Kaleb Johnson
2 Isaac Brown 2 Desmond Reid
3 Omarion Hampton 3 Isaac Brown
4 Tawee Walker 4 Tawee Walker
5 RJ Harvey 5 RJ Harvey
6 Kaleb Johnson 6 Omarion Hampton
7 Woody Marks 7 Kyle Monangai
8 Jeremiyah Love 8 Quali Conley
9 Kobe Pace 9 Jeremiyah Love
10 Phil Mafah 10 Manny Covey

Although his price has finally caught up to his ability and production, Desmond Reid still sits at the top of our cash-game rankings for the week. After a season-high 11 receptions last game, it is hard to see Reid failing in your lineups this week. Down the list are some price-saving options that have found new roles in their offense thanks to injuries. Tawee Walker and Isaac Brown are too cheap for their roles and provide nice salary relief.

In GPPs, Kaleb Johnson stands out for an Iowa team that still loves to run the ball and also just lost its second-leading running back to the portal. Also, be sure to keep an eye out for injuries as last week Walker and Manny Covey came out of nowhere late in the week with injuries to players in front of them.

CFB DFS Wide Receiver Rankings

WR Cash Rankings Per $ WR GPP Rankings Per $
1 Ja'Corey Brooks 1 Ryan Williams
2 Bryson Nesbit 2 Ja'Corey Brooks
3 Malik Rutherford 3 Bryson Nesbit
4 Ryan Williams 4 Tetairoa McMillan
5 Xzavier Henderson 5 Chase Roberts
6 Malachi Fields 6 Isaiah Bond
7 Tetairoa McMillan 7 Xzavier Henderson
8 Elic Ayomanor 8 Denzel Boston
9 Tyler Warren 9 Konata Mumpfield
10 Chase Roberts 10 Bryant Wesco Jr.

Most weeks in College Football DFS, I would advise staying away from the tight-end position. However, this week there are a few strong plays that are simply too cheap for their prices. Bryson Nesbit and Tyler Warren are both rock-solid plays who have a nice target share and also get plus matchups.

On the GPP site, there are some high-end options, but those players also have a low floor. Tetairoa McMillan is likely to be a top-10 NFL draft pick, but inconsistencies at quarterback have hurt his upside this year. Meanwhile, players like Konata Mumpfield and Bryant Wesco Jr. have a strong group of receivers at their schools to fight for targets with, so while the upside is there, so is the risk of a sub-10-point game.
