ANALYSIS: 2024 has not been kind to Amari Cooper. Four weeks into the season, and He’s only the WR41 on the year. Much of the blame can be placed on the struggles of Cleveland’s starting quarterback, Deshaun Watson.
However, the Browns offense draws the matchup of all matchups with a Week 5 date against the Washington Commanders. Washington’s defense currently ranks 30th in defensive passing DVOA per FTN Fantasy, 31st in DVOA against opposing wide receivers, and has allowed the most PPR points per game to receivers through the first four games.
This just feels like the ideal spot for a classic Cooper spike game.

Look, the Browns’ offense has been hot garbage this year, but they should find some success against Washington’s defense. Gamers can fire up Cooper as a WR2 play this week. He's got a good chance to crack triple digits and post his best performance of the season.
