MLB DFS: DraftKings, FanDuel Daily Fantasy Baseball Picks (6/8/24) - Today's Top Lineups

Rafael Devers - Fantasy Baseball Rankings, MLB DFS Picks, Betting Picks

The top MLB DFS daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for FanDuel, DraftKings on June 8, 2024. Mike Marteny's MLB DFS sleepers picks for building optimal DFS rosters.

We have a massive 10-game tilt in the middle of the afternoon on both slates for our Saturday this week. It's usually not this many games on a Saturday main slate, so let's enjoy it! We have some top-notch options out there.

This article will provide my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on Saturday, June 8, 2024, with the slate starting at 4:05 p.m. EDT. The lineup picks will range from some elite players to mid-priced options and value plays.

You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for other sports here. Monitoring injury news and today's MLB starting lineups is also essential. Good luck, RotoBallers!

DraftKings, FanDuel Pitchers - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Freddy Peralta at DET ($10K DraftKings; $10.5K FanDuel)

Peralta hasn't been all that efficient this year, but he's racking up the strikeouts. That's what matters to DFS players. His 32.7% K rate is his highest since 2021 and the 7.7% walk rate is the best of his career. The 3.74 ERA is a bit unsightly, but we'll take it as long as the strikeouts come with it. They should continue today since the Tigers strike out 27% of the time against right-handed pitching.

Kevin Gausman at OAK ($9.1K DraftKings; $8.9K FanDuel)

That price on FanDuel is an absolute steal. Yeah, Gausman strikes out just a touch under one batter per inning, but that doesn't make him that much less valuable on FanDuel. Gausman's surface stats aren't good, but he hasn't given up more than two earned runs in a road start this year. He has only allowed two earned runs in his last four road starts.

The only formidable team that he has faced on the road is the Yankees, but the A's aren't the Yankees. The A's aren't the White Sox or Detroit either, Gausman's last two road opponents. The A's have only scored eight runs in the last five games. I'll trust Gausman in a matchup like this.

MacKenzie Gore vs. ATL ($8.3K DraftKings; $9.6K FanDuel)

I expect many to be chased off of Gore after the Mets smacked him on Sunday. However, in the start before that implosion, Gore struck out 10 Braves in just 5 1/3 innings while giving up one earned run. The Braves are still a good offensive team without Ronald Acuna Jr., but the strikeouts are becoming a problem. Gore is a good click in GPP formats since I expect many DFS players to go after Gore with the plethora of right-handed bats the Braves will roll out.

Also consider: Luis Castillo at KC; Brayan Bello at CWS; Simeon Woods Richardson at PIT

DraftKings, FanDuel Infielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Rafael Devers – 3B, BOS vs. Nick Nastrini ($6K DK; $4.3K FD)

Nastrini is 0-5 with a 9.74 ERA. The bloated walk rate (19.4%) and low strikeout rate (13.6%) are a poor combination. Add Devers' recent hot streak (.342, three homers, eight RBI over his seven-game hitting streak) and it's a recipe for a big DFS score.

Devers is at his best against four-seamers (.627 SLG), sliders (.667), and changeups (.632). Care to guess which three pitches Nastrini relies on? Devers is my first click today.

Enmanuel Valdez – 2B, BOS vs. Nick Nastrini ($3.4K DK; $2.6K FD)

Valdez has hit three homers and driven in eight runs during his current five-game hitting streak. Valdez is a great way to get exposure to Boston without breaking the bank and is also a great piece of the necessary Boston stack.

Wilmer Flores – 1B, SF vs. Andrew Heaney ($3.5K DK; $2.5K FD)

Flores, who led the Giants with 23 home runs last season, only has four so far this year. Three of them have come in the past two games. He draws lefty Andrew Heaney, whose ERA is nearly two runs higher at home to celebrate. Flores is a career .271 hitter against southpaws and averages a homer every 20 at-bats. He could stay hot today.

Also consider: Ryan Mountcastle, Nolan Gorman, Bobby Witt Jr., Royce Lewis

DraftKings, FanDuel Outfielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Christian Yelich - OF, MIL vs. Casey Mize ($5.4K DK; $3.9K FD)

Chicks may dig the long ball, but DFS players dig the all-around production and efficiency of a guy like Yelich. He has 12 hits in the last six games. Even though he hasn't hit one out of the park, he does have a couple of doubles and a couple of steals. Yelich hits four-seamers and sliders well (.583 and .684 SLG respectively), pitches that Mize throws 68.8% of the time.

Jesse Winker – OF, WAS vs. Charlie Morton ($4K DK; $3.2K FD)

There's hot streaks, then there's whatever Winker has going on. He has four multi-hit efforts in his last five games. Perhaps the craziest thing about those 10 hits in five games is that they are all singles. Hey, he has driven in three runs and stolen a base, so it's not all in vain. He is also the best curveball hitter that the Nats have right now (.550 SLG) -- a pitch that Morton throws more than 40% of the time.

Heliot Ramos – OF, SF vs. Andrew Heaney ($3.4K DK; $3.2K FD)

The rookie has three homers over the last five games, and like Winker, four of those games have been multi-hit efforts. You get the power with Ramos too (and he has driven in seven runs in those five games). Ramos is also leading off for the Giants, whereas Winker is batting third. This isn't a competition though. They are both excellent additions to your lineups tonight.

Also consider: Marcell Ozuna, TJ Friedl, Lane Thomas
