Kansas City Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco has taken over as the lead back in the second half of the season and has turned in some very impressive results.
The 24-year-old missed two games earlier this year due to injury, but he has played at least 70 percent of snaps in each playoff game up to this point. He has become the true workhorse in the Chiefs offense, showcasing their postseason experience over the last two weeks.

Isiah Pacheco Injury Update for Fantasy Football
Pacheco (toe/ankle) did not practice at all on Wednesday or Thursday, but he did participate in the team's walk-through held on Thursday. He is currently listed as questionable for the AFC Championship on Sunday, and he will likely carry that designation into the game if he doesn't practice on Friday.
According to James Palmer of NFL Network, the injury isn't viewed as a major concern for Pacheco, and Kansas City is likely playing it safe after the heavy workload of the last two weeks. The fact that he is taking part in the team's walk-throughs show they plan to have him on game day, and it would be a surprise if he doesn't suit up.
In the event Pacheco can't go, Clyde Edwards-Helaire figures to return to the lead back role with Jerick McKinnon (hernia, pelvis) on IR.
Isiah Pacheco Fantasy Football Outlook
Pacheco has carried the ball at least 15 times in each of the two playoff games this year, including 24 times in the first round against the Dolphins. He has rushed for an average of 93 yards per game in two games, scoring a touchdown in both. Usage in the last game tapered off as the Chiefs needed to score to stay in the game.
The Ravens defense ranks first in DVOA overall, including seventh against the run. Miami and Buffalo were more middle of the pack against the run, and both teams were dealing with injuries to their front seven. Baltimore ranks 20th in points allowed to running backs this year, and Houston didn't get anything going on the ground in their game last week.
Pacheco is likely to see substantial volume early in the game while the Chiefs avoid the Ravens' pass defense. They should continue to stick with the run game as long as they don't face a large deficit. Kansas City's passing game has struggled to create separation and make plays at times this year, making it more challenging for Travis Kelce to dominate against this elite linebacker duo. Pacheco is a solid volume-based play this week.
