Jameson Williams' fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 12 (2023). Our advice on whether you should start or sit Jameson Williams for fantasy lineups.
BALLER MOVE: Start in 14+ Team PPR Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR5
ANALYSIS: Detroit Lions wide receiver Jameson Williams continues to frustrate fantasy managers with his uneven production. The second-year receiver has displayed some big-play ability this season but just hasn't produced consistently enough to be a reliable fantasy option.
Take last week against the Bears for example. Williams scored on a 32-yard pass from quarterback Jared Goff in the fourth quarter, but he only ended up with three targets in the game, catching two passes for 44 yards.
In fact, Williams has seen more than three targets just once all season. That came back in Week 7 when he was targeted six times, but Williams failed to bring in any of those passes.
At this point, Jameson Williams is only on the fantasy radar in 14-team leagues and only if you're really, really willing to take a risk on a touchdown-or-bust option. On a week where all 32 NFL teams are in action, there's likely not a ton of reasons to take that risk considering Williams had finished with under 20 receiving yards in four of the six games that he's played this season. The biggest appeal this week with Williams is in DFS contests, where his touchdown upside is a little easier to take a risk on.
