Luke Musgrave's fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 12 (2023). Our advice on whether you should start or sit Luke Musgrave for fantasy lineups.
BALLER MOVE: Bench in all formats
POSITIONAL VALUE: N/A
ANALYSIS:
Edit: Musgrave has been placed on the Injured Reserve with a lacerated kidney and will miss at least four games.
Green Bay Packers rookie tight end Luke Musgrave had a bit of a letdown in Week 11, catching four passes for 28 yards in his team's 23-20 victory over the Chargers.
That performance was fine, but it ended a two-game streak of 50-plus-yard performances for the rookie. Still, he saw six targets in the contest, his most since Oct. 9 against the Raiders, and caught four passes, his most since he also caught four balls on Oct. 22 against the Broncos.
Musgrave's not an elite tight end or anything, but his increasing volume is a big plus if you need someone in fantasy and don't have one of those elite options.
The rookie has played at least 64% of Green Bay's offensive snaps in six consecutive games. There's a whole bunch of mouths to feed in the Packers passing attack right now, but Musgrave has upside as a TE2 option this week, even if his floor remains fairly low. Quarterback Jordan Love threw for new season highs in yardage in two consecutive games, showcasing the overall improvement of this Packers offense, which also helps increase Musgrave's fantasy ceiling.
