Tyler Boyd is a fantasy football waiver wire pickup option for wide receivers. Target him as a free agent add off waivers for Week 10 of the 2023 NFL season.

ANALYSIS: The Cincinnati Bengals offense is beginning to once again look like the team we’ve seen dominate the AFC the past few seasons. That came on display on Sunday night when Cincy comfortably took care of the Buffalo Bills by a score of 24-18.

What caused their early season woes exactly, that’s still to be determined. More likely than not, QB Joe Burrow’s early season calf injury was bothering him more than we were led to believe. But for now, it looks like that’s all behind Burrow and the Bengals.

While they find their way back into form, it’s been WR Tyler Boyd who’s provided some assistance in doing so. Boyd hasn’t necessarily jumped off the stat sheet this season with only 36 receptions and 300 yards, but his high-end snap share provides him with some fantasy value as Cincy continues to keep rolling.

Boyd has played 86.9% of snaps this season, mainly playing out of the slot. For reference, he’s currently averaging more snaps per game than the likes of some elite WRs such as Chris Godwin, Tyreek Hill, and Brandon Aiyuk.

Now, of course, simply being on the field isn’t everything. It’s a good place to look though when you’re scouring the waiver wire for a second half of the fantasy season stretch. Boyd will most likely continue to be third on the pecking order in targets behind both WRs Tee Higgins and Ja’Marr Chase.

But as bye weeks start to come full force, you won’t find a player who can provide you with the consistency a guy like Boyd can bring a roster for the rest of the season. Now is as good a time as ever to stash him and monitor his outputs as Cincy looks to continue their ascension offensively.
