Saquon Barkley Injury Update
Barkley (elbow) upgraded to a full participant in practice on Friday. He has been removed from the final injury report and will play against the Jets in Week 8. Fantasy managers should view him as a strong RB1 despite the absence of Daniel Jones (neck) and Andrew Thomas (hamstring).
Kenneth Walker Injury Update
Walker (calf) upgraded to a full participant on Friday and has been removed from the final injury report. He will play in Week 8, though it was touch-and-go for a little while after the second-year star was unable to practice on Thursday. He's a fantasy RB1 once again this week.
Raheem Mostert Injury Update
Mostert (ankle) practiced in a limited capacity and is officially questionable to play in Week 8 versus the New England Patriots. The expectation is that he should be able to suit up, though we might not get official confirmation until late Sunday morning. Jeff Wilson Jr. will operate as the No. 2 running back and would presumably handle lead-back duties if Mostert can't suit up.
Jerome Ford Injury Update
Ford (ankle) was able to practice in a limited capacity on Friday. As a result, he is listed as questionable for Week 8 versus Seattle. A high-ankle sprain was expected to sideline Ford for at least one game, but he has recovered better than expected and at least has a chance to suit up on Sunday. We'll get more information on his status in the hours leading up to kickoff.
Alvin Kamara Injury Update
Kamara (illness) missed practice on Wednesday but has since been removed from the injury report. He'll be active on Sunday, ranking as an RB1 in fantasy football.
David Montgomery Injury Update
Montgomery (ribs) missed another practice on Friday and should be considered a longshot to play in Week 8 versus the Las Vegas Raiders. Jahmyr Gibbs will operate as the lead back in his absence, possessing fantasy appeal as a mid-range RB2.
Aaron Jones Injury Update
Jones (hamstring) practiced in a limited capacity on Friday but does not carry an injury designation into Sunday's game. Between injuries and poor production, Jones has been a massive disappointment in fantasy football this season. Until we have reason to believe that the old Aaron Jones is back, his fantasy ceiling remains capped around the low-end RB2 range.
Zack Moss Injury Update
Moss (elbow, heel) missed practice on Friday and is officially listed as questionable for Week 8 versus New Orleans. The Colts are leaving the door open for him to play on Sunday, but such an outcome seems quite unlikely. Jonathan Taylor is the only Indianapolis running back worth starting in fantasy football this week.
Kareem Hunt Injury Update
Hunt (thigh) practiced in a limited capacity on Friday but does not carry an injury report into Week 8 versus Seattle. He should handle lead-back duties if Ford is unable to play. In such a scenario, the veteran would rank as a mid-to-high fantasy RB3.
Roschon Johnson Injury Update
Johnson (concussion) practiced in full all week long and has cleared concussion protocol. Furthermore, he was removed from the injury report on Friday, confirming his availability for Week 8. The rookie will likely operate behind D'Onta Foreman but could have RB3/FLEX appeal in deeper fantasy leagues.
Zach Charbonnet Injury Update
Charbonnet (hamstring) logged another full practice session on Friday and will play versus Cleveland in Week 8. It appears his absence last Sunday was not the indication of a long-term injury, so he'll be back on the field after missing just one game. The rookie ranks as a fantasy RB4 in his current role behind Kenneth Walker III.
Jerick McKinnon Injury Update
McKinnon (groin) was a full participant in practice on Friday and has been cleared to play in Week 8. He will be active as the No. 2 back behind Isiah Pacheco but lacks legitimate fantasy appeal.
Gary Brightwell Injury Update
Brightwell (hamstring) has already been ruled out ahead of Week 8 versus the Jets. He has been the No. 3 back in New York and will likely be replaced on the gameday roster by Jashaun Corbin or Deon Jackson. Both players lack fantasy appeal.
Chase Brown Injury Update
Brown (hamstring) injured himself this week and has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the 49ers. Cincinnati will evaluate him on a week-to-week basis going forward, but in the interim, Trayveon Williams and Chris Evans will see more snaps behind Joe Mixon.
Keaton Mitchell Injury Update
Mitchell (hamstring) upgraded to a full participant on Friday and has been listed as questionable heading into Week 8 versus Arizona. The rookie is trending towards playing, though we likely won't get confirmation on his status until Sunday afternoon.
Kenny McIntosh Injury Update
McIntosh (knee) was not added to the roster and has been ruled out for Week 8 versus the Browns. The rookie's absence will confirm DeeJay Dallas' role as the No. 2 running back for at least one more game.
Dwayne Washington Injury Update
