DraftKings Evening CFB DFS Lineup Picks: Daily College Fantasy Football (10/14/23)

Jacob Cowing - CFB DFS Lineup Picks, Daily Fantasy College Football, NFL Draft Rookie - icon rotoballer

Mike's DraftKings daily fantasy college football lineup picks for the evening slate on Saturday (10/14/23). His CFB DFS lineup picks and DFS sleepers will help you win.

We have another action-packed prime-time slate for Week 7 of the 2023 season. There are only seven games on the docket but all of them include at least one explosive offense. It doesn't get much better than this!

We kick off in Lubbock with K-State in town. Arizona travels up to Pullman to take on the Cougars. LSU hosts the Alabama Tigers in Death Valley. A half-hour later, the Canes make their way up to Chapel Hill. USC is in South Bend to take on Notre Dame. We end the night with Duke hosting the Pack and UCLA in Corvallis to take on the Beavers.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college football lineup picks for DraftKings on 10/14/23, locking at 7 PM Eastern. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions for players at quarterback, running back, and wide receiver, aiming to highlight one option at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Quarterbacks

Sam Hartman, Notre Dame ($8,500)

The weather report is going to affect my decision here. If it's going to be raining all night in South Bend, I will likely turn elsewhere. USC's defense is really weak on the back end, but Hartman won't be able to beat the Trojans over the top with a wet and water-logged football. If the rain is more of a mist, Hartman should get back to Wake Forest-type numbers against this much-maligned defense. If the weather is a deterrent, I'll find the money for either Drake Maye or Jayden Daniels.

Noah Fifita, Arizona ($7,400)

I know that Jayden de Laura might be healthy. I will tell you right now that it shouldn't matter. Fifita has earned the right to keep starting for Arizona. In games against two top-ten teams in USC and Washington, Fifita threw for 535 yards and eight touchdowns with only two interceptions. Not only that, but he lost by a combined nine points. Wazzu is a tough team to play against, but so is Washington and Fifita survived that.

Also consider: Jayden Daniels, LSU ($10,000); Cameron Ward, Washington State ($9,100); Henry Belin, Duke ($6,600); Tyler Van Dyke, Miami ($6,200)

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Running Backs

Audric Estime, Notre Dame ($7,900)

Louisville clamped down on Estime last week. If this game is cold and rainy as expected, Estime will be the focal point of the Notre Dame offense. The Trojans are marginally better against the run than the pass and aren't allowing many touchdowns on the ground. I tend to think that is because teams can consistently take the top off of that defense. The weather should prevent that, meaning a heavy load for Estime.

Tahj Brooks, Texas Tech ($6,300)

The Kansas State run defense has been good, but Tahj Brooks has been better. He has four straight games over 100 rushing yards. He missed the mark against Oregon, but that's because he only had six carries. Brooks has at least 22 carries in each of the last three games and has added a reception in each of those. Brooks may not hit 100 yards here, but the volume is elite.

Jeremiyah Love, Notre Dame ($4,400)

This goes back to the projected weather again. Estime isn't going to carry the ball 40 times in this game. He might not even carry it 20, but I expect at least 35 rushes for the Irish in this game. If that's true, Love should see a healthy dose of carries. He's not going to break the slate behind Estime, but 10 touches at this price could go a long way against USC's defense.

Also consider: DJ Giddens, Kansas State ($6,500); Henry Parrish, Miami ($5,700); Jonah Coleman, Arizona ($5,500); Donald Chaney, Miami ($3,900)

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Wide Receivers

Malik Nabers, LSU ($8,800)

There isn't a corner on the planet that can consistently cover Nabers one-on-one. Most can't even do it with safety help. Nabers has 617 yards on 35 receptions and five touchdowns in four conference games. If the Heisman had any integrity left, both Nabers and his quarterback would be near the top of the Heisman list. That won't happen because Nabers isn't a quarterback and LSU has two losses. It's sad, really. Nabers is having a dominant season. Auburn may slow him down, but they won't stop him.

Jacob Cowing, Arizona ($7,000)

Cowing was a non-factor against Northern Arizona in the opener, but he has at least seven receptions in every game since and has posted double-digit receptions twice. It doesn't matter who starts at quarterback for Arizona. Cowing has been outstanding for both of them and will continue to dominate the targets in Tucson.

Devontez Walker, North Carolina ($5,900)

Better late than never, I guess. The NCAA finally overturned their idiotic ruling of Walker being ineligible prior to the rout of Syracuse. Walker responded with six receptions for 43 yards in his season debut. He will only become a larger and larger part of this offense as the season goes on. Walker is still priced cheap enough right now that a sharp increase in productivity at this price could break the slate. He's the perfect GPP target.

Kyle Williams, Washington State ($5,600)

Lincoln Victor is doubtful, so that should mean another huge game for Williams. He has 15 receptions for 259 yards in the last two games alone! If for some reason Victor plays, I'll go for another value play. If not, the volume on Williams at this price can't be ignored in any format.

Also consider: Nate McCollum, North Carolina ($6,500); Tetairoa McMillan, Arizona ($6,200); Xavier Restrepo, Miami ($5,900); Silas Bolden, Oregon State ($5,700); Mitchell Evans, Notre Dame ($5,400); Trent Pennix, North Carolina State ($4,200)

DraftKings CFB Stacks:

North Carolina

Miami's defense did their job last week as they have for much of the season. That said, Miami has only played one decent offense all season. A&M hung 48 on them in Miami in Week 2 and the UNC offense is a long way ahead of the Aggies. I don't have much interest in the Carolina run game due to Miami's tough run defense. A Maye/McCollum/Walker stack is a lot more affordable than it should be, making it my top selection of the night.

Notre Dame

If the weather is as nasty as it looks like it might be, an Irish stack without Hartman is very unconventional but it could pay off. That would include both Estime and Love with Mitchell Evans and Holden Staes as the receivers. That's two backs and two tight ends if you're expecting a ground-heavy and short passing attack in the rain.

Also consider: Arizona, Texas Tech
