Mid-Week Waiver Wire Rankings - Fantasy Baseball Pickups Include C.J. Cron, Jordan Westburg, Scott McGough, more

CJ Cron - Fantasy Baseball Rankings, Draft Sleepers, Waiver Wire Pickups

Mid-week fantasy baseball waiver wire rankings for Week 15 (2023). Free agent hitters and pitchers to add include Gavin Williams, Emmet Sheehan, Henry Davis, and Eddie Rosario.

Welcome RotoBallers to our mid-week fantasy baseball waiver wire rankings list for Week 15 - June 26 through July 2 to help you stay on top of the waiver wire, especially in leagues that allow daily moves. Baltimore Orioles top prospect Jordan Westburg's contract was purchased from Triple-A Norfolk earlier this week, and he made his MLB debut on Tuesday. Since the promotion, the 24-year-old is hitting .417 (5-for-12) with a double, two RBI, and two runs scored over three games. While Westburg made it to the show, top prospects such as Christian Encarnacion-Strand, Colton Cowser, Landon Knack, Kyle Manzardo, Dominic Canzone, Colt Keith, Grayson Rodriguez, and Ronny Mauricio patiently wait their turn for the call to the big leagues.

The Colorado Rockies reinstated first baseman C.J. Cron (back) from the injured list Monday after missing six weeks due to back spasms. The 33-year-old will hit in the heart of Colorado's lineup after mashing 29 homers and driving 102 runs last season. He is slashing .231/.277/.420 over 155 plate appearances in 2023. Scott McGough has taken over the closer's role in Arizona by racking up four saves over his last five appearances. However, he took the loss and was charged with a blown save Wednesday. The 33-year-old surrendered three runs on four hits while striking out one over an inning. Despite the implosion on Wednesday, McGough is the preferred late-inning option for Arizona after posting a 3.00 ERA, 0.95 WHIP, and a 50: 14 K: BB across 42 innings in 2023.

This week's waiver wire rankings feature players such as C.J. Cron, Jordan Westburg, Anthony Volpe, Scott McGough, Henry Davis, Reid Detmers, Michael Soroka, Nick Pratto, Tarik Skubal, Dylan Carlson, Jordan Hicks, David Hamilton, Max Kepler, Trevor May, Gavin Williams, rank among others. We're here, as always, to help you stay on top of the latest waiver wire options, especially in leagues that allow for daily moves. Prospects continue to be called up that are making impacts, so you'll need to be informed. Be sure to stay on top of our weekly waiver wire rankings and turn on MLB news alerts to stay ahead of the curve. Once you're done here, check out our fantasy baseball prospects articles for the latest names to stash and pickup.

Fantasy Baseball Waiver Wire Pickups List

For anyone who isn't familiar, every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, we release all sorts of fantasy baseball waiver wire articles. As part of that, Nick Mariano releases our waiver wire rankings list on Sundays to help you prioritize which players to target as free agent adds off waivers.

In addition to that, we are also putting out a second waiver wire rankings list mid-week. Since many fantasy baseball leagues have daily waiver wire moves or multiple waiver wire runs per week for adding players, this mid-week rankings list should help you keep track of players emerging in the middle of the week before we reach Sunday.

Below you will see our list of waiver wire pickups in our prioritized order. There should be waiver wire recommendations here for all sorts of league sizes, along with the position(s) for the player and the rostered percentages.
