Saquon Barkley Won't Sign Franchise Tag
Saquon Barkley will not be signing his franchise tag and therefore won't be eligible to participate in the team's offseason program that begins next Monday. The team still has until the middle of July to get a long-term deal worked out with their star running back, but for now, it looks like Barkley won't be joining the team for offseason workouts. The 26-year-old former second overall pick in 2018 stayed healthy all year in 2022 and bounced back in a big way in his first year in head coach Brian Daboll's offense with a career-high 1,312 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns on 295 carries, adding 57 receptions for 338 yards through the air in 16 regular season games. He's undoubtedly an RB1 in fantasy.
