Adam Duvall Goes For X-Rays
Adam Duvall (wrist) went for X-rays after getting injured in Sunday's game against the Detroit Tigers. Duvall injured his left wrist in the ninth inning while trying to make a diving catch in the outfield. The 34-year-old veteran went 1-for-4 in the contest with a strikeout in the game before departing late. It's the same wrist that Duvall had surgery on last year, so this is a concerning development for the Red Sox and fantasy managers alike. Raimel Tapia took over for Duvall in the outfield on Sunday and could see more playing time if he's forced to miss extended time. Duvall is off to a fantastic start in 2023 in his first year in Beantown, as he's hitting .455 (15-for-33) with five doubles, a triple, four home runs and 14 RBI in just eight games played.
