Quarterback Josh Allen has led the Bills to a 12-3 record, and is on track to get them back to an AFC Championship game. The team is averaging 28 points per game, which is fourth-best in the NFL, and a major piece of that offensive machine is wide receiver, Stefon Diggs. However, Diggs appeared on the injury report this week with an illness.

Stefon Diggs Injury Update for Fantasy Football
The Buffalo superstar receiver didn't practice on Thursday and was listed as questionable with an illness. With a huge Monday night matchup on tap with the Cincinnati Bengals this week, fantasy managers might be panicking.
The good news is that with a Monday night game, Diggs has an extra day to recover from whatever is ailing him. The bad is that there is still some anxiety for owners because most leagues are currently heading into their championship matchups.
It would be surprising to see him sit based on other instances of players being labeled questionable with "illnesses" in 2022. In most cases this season, those players, unless seriously ill, have suited up on the game day. Fingers are crossed all over the fantasy landscape, most notably for those counting on a big Week 17 performance from Diggs.
If Healthy, Is Stefon Diggs A WR1?
The Buffalo wideout is undeniably one of the most talented and productive players in the NFL. This season, he has 101 receptions on an incredible 144 targets, reeled in 1,325 receiving yards, and has caught 10 touchdowns.
However, over his last three games, he has underperformed dramatically. In those contests, he averaged only 3.3 receptions and 41 yards and didn't once find the end zone.
That being said, if number 14 is active on Monday night, there is no world in which you are sitting him. He is clearly Allen's favorite target, and he is able to break out for a monster game at a moment's notice.
Is Stefon Diggs Injured or Playing in Week 17 Fantasy Football?
Bills head coach Sean McDermott hinted on Thursday that he expects his star WR back in the lineup for Monday's big game with the Bengals. Regardless of his recent play, this would be an incredibly positive piece of news for his fantasy owners.
All signs point towards Diggs playing in Week 17. And if he does, expect a huge night from the Buffalo playmaker.
Odds are he gets back on track in a potential shootout with Joe Burrow and the Bengals, just in time for the final game of championship weekend.
