DJ Chark is a fantasy football waiver wire pickup option for wide receivers. Target him as a free agent add off waivers for Week 17 of the 2022 NFL season.
BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 51% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: While DJ Chark had a rough outing a couple of weeks ago when he could only put up 2.8 PPR points at the New York Jets, he has now proved that a fluke with another 14+ PPR game this past weekend and his third matchup at that level in three of the past four games he's played.
The Lions were hella hot entering last Saturday's game at Carolina, but the Panthers defeated them easily by a two-TD difference. Only Amon-Ra St. Brown stayed on the field for more snaps than Chark last Saturday and even then the difference just amounted to six of them.
In the last month of play, every time Chark has seen more than 2 targets (that's been the case in three of four games) he's racked up at the very least 94 receiving yards. He's coming off a 4-of-5 reception day in which he reached a season-high 108 yards. The 14.8 PPR points are tied for his third-best mark of the season after having the same score in Week 13 and a season-high as recently as in Week 14.
With the Lions not risking rookie Jameson Williams and instead easing him into the system and the pro level slowly this season (he's coming off playing just 11 snaps last Saturday after getting 8, 13, and 13 in the prior three games), Chark has played the WR3 role for the Lions this season when available. That won't change at this point so make sure to grab some shares of Chark while it's still possible.
