DraftKings, FanDuel Daily Fantasy Baseball Picks (7/10/22): Today's Top MLB DFS Lineups

Shane Baz - Fantasy Baseball Rankings, Prospects, Draft Sleepers, MLB Injury News

The top daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for FanDuel and DraftKings on July 10th 2022. Mark Kieffer's MLB DFS analysis and sleepers for building optimal DFS rosters.

It's Sunday, July 10th, another Sunday slate filled with some exciting games. As with most Sundays, the MLB slate is mostly during the day with one Sunday night game, which in this case will be Yankees-Red Sox, which will not be in the slate. This article has daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for FanDuel and DraftKings on 7/3/2022, Main Slate at 1:35 pm Eastern Time.

The lineup will range from some elite players to mid-priced options, and value plays. The main slate is seven games on DraftKings and eight on FanDuel. There are a lot of different routes one can go with lineup construction and tournament strategy.

Today's MLB Weather Outlook

Nationals-Braves has some rain in the forecast, picking up as the day goes on. Check the details of that forecast before lock!

DraftKings, FanDuel Pitchers - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Sandy Alcantara- P, MIA @ NYM ($10,700 DK, $10,700 FD)

Has the second-best SIERA (3.47) on the slate. He has a relatively low strikeout rate (22.8%), but he goes deep into games getting him respectable strikeout numbers. Provides floor but not as much ceiling as other pitchers.

Shane Baz- P, TBR @ CIN ($8,100 DK, $8,700 FD)

Baz is still underpriced overall although more expensive than he was in his last start. He has a 3.47 SIERA, 27.7% strikeout rate, pitching to a Reds team that has the fifth-highest strikeout rate to RHP this season (24.2%). Tampa Bay is also favored to win, which helps on FanDuel. There is quality start potential, win potential, with some strikeout upside. For his price, he is my favorite pitcher today.

Nick Lodolo- P, CIN vs. TBR ($6,900 DK, $7,600 FD)

If looking for a punt play at pitcher, Nick Lodolo should be considered. He has the best SIERA on the slate (3.17) and the highest strikeout rate on the slate (30.3%). He should not be as cheap as he is.

DraftKings, FanDuel Infielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Yoan Moncada- 3B, CHW vs. Drew Hutchinson ($3,100 DK, $2,400 FD)

Moncada is leading off for the White Sox with a 4.9 implied run total, facing a pitcher with a SIERA north of 5.00. Moncada has not had a great season but he is cheap and in a good spot here.

Tommy Edman- SS, STL vs. Nick Nelson/Cristopher Sanchez ($3,400 DK)

Edman is leading off for a Cardinals team in a good matchup here. Edman is SS eligible on DK only.

Amed Rosario - SS, CLE vs. Zack Greinke ($2,800 FD)

In general, I am all for getting exposure against Greinke, who has a 5.00 SIERA and an 11.6% strikeout rate. Rosario does not have the upside as others in the lineup have but he hits at the top of the order and is cheap.

Nolan Gorman- 2B, STL vs. Nick Nelson/Cristopher Sanchez ($3,300 DK, $2,700 FD)

I like the Cardinals today. On DraftKings, I don't mind having a mini stack of Edman-Gorman even in cash games. On FanDuel, you would have to pick one or the other between Gorman or Edman, as they are priced within $100 and are in the same position. I'd lean Gorman for GPPs due to his power upside and Edman for a cash game but either one is fine.

Vinnie Pasquantino- 1B, KC vs. Zach Plesac ($2,800 DK, $2,400 FD)

I have been a fan of Vinnie Pasquantino all year following him in the minors. In Triple-A he had a .372 OBP, a 12.5% walk rate, a 12.2% strikeout rate, and a .296 ISO. He has been off to a slow start in the Majors, but he did hit a home run on Friday and is facing a bad pitcher in Zach Plesac. Plesac has a 4.50 SIERA, 16.7% strikeout rate, and a 6.1% walk rate. He is pretty cheap and although he is batting 6th today, he can make value without having to do too much.

DraftKings, FanDuel Outfielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Gavin Sheets- OF, CHW vs. Drew Hutchinson ($2,800 DK, $2,300 FD)

Sheets has a .300 ISO and .404 wOBA against RHP at home.

Franmil Reyes- OF, CLE vs. Zack Greinke ($3,200 DK, $2,900 FD)

This whole Cleveland lineup is in a great spot and Reyes is the cheapest Cleveland batter in the top half of the lineup on DraftKings while still being reasonably priced on FanDuel. Reyes is starting to heat up as well, hitting home runs in two of his last three games played. Overall it's been a tough season for Reyes with a .262 OBP, .161 ISO, and nearly 40% strikeout rate, but I am willing to take a shot on him today.

Eddie Rosario- OF, ATL vs. Paolo Espino ($3,500 DK, $2,700 FD)

There is some rain in the forecast so double-check the weather, but Atlanta is implied for over six runs and Rosario is the cheapest batter on DraftKings and second-cheapest batter on FanDuel in this Braves lineup. This is a guy with home run and stolen base upside in a good lineup against a bad pitcher and bullpen.

DraftKings, FanDuel MLB DFS Stacks

Here are a few stacks I am really liking today:

  • Cleveland Guardians - Zach Greinke is probably the worst pitcher on this slate
  • Chicago White Sox- Drew Hutchinson is the worst pitcher on the slate if Greinke is not
  • Atlanta Braves - Implied for over six runs but also expensive
  • Washington Nationals - While most will want to take the Braves side, Ian Anderson has not been good this season with a 4.60 SIERA
  • Detroit Tigers - Detroit has been a different team. The Tigers are tied with the most runs scored in the past week. Kopech is considered a good pitcher, with good surface stats, but he has a 4.62 SIERA pitching to a hot team.
