2022 NFL Draft Mock - Round Two Draft Pick Predictions

Matt Corral fantasy football rankings NFL draft rookies draft sleepers

Andrew Lalama's final 2022 NFL Draft mock draft for Round 2, predicting landing spots for the top NCAA college football players and 2022 NFL rookie prospects.

The first round is in the books, but night two of the NFL Draft is just as important. There are a lot of talented players still on the board, and day two produces building-block pieces every year.

With just one QB off the board, it will be fascinating to see where the next tier of QBs land. All of the RBs are still on the board as well, and their ultimate landing spots will have huge fantasy implications.

The purpose of this mock draft is to predict what will happen tonight. You can follow me on Twitter @draft32teams for more NFL Draft takes and insight.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

NFL Draft Mock Round 2 - Picks #33-42

33. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Logan Hall - DT, Houston

The Bucs have a need at DT and Hall has excellent play strength.

34. Minnesota Vikings: Boye Mafe - EDGE, Minnesota

The Vikings added to the secondary in round one, but clearly need an EDGE. Mafe has a good first step and outstanding flexibility as a pass-rusher.

35. Tennessee Titans: Arnold Ebiketie - EDGE, Penn State

The Titans could consider a QB here, but ultimately settle on Abiketie, who is an underrated pass-rusher who can convert speed to power.

36. New York Giants: Skyy Moore - WR, Western Michigan

The Giants are apparently committed to giving Daniel Jones a chance this year. I personally would take a QB, but WR is a need for the future. Moore is a special player with great hands, speed, and twitch.

37. Houston Texans: George Pickens - WR, Georgia

Pickens has fallen a bit due to maturity issues, but he's a supreme talent. The Texans could use a potential WR1 for Davis Mills.

38. New York Jets: Breece Hall - RB, Iowa State

The Jets are clearly committed to surrounding Zach Wilson with playmakers. Hall is the best RB in this class.

39. Chicago Bears: Christian Watson - WR, North Dakota State

The Bears need help for Justin Fields, and Watson has all the physical tools to develop into a solid pro on the outside.

40. Seattle Seahawks: David Ojabo - EDGE, Michigan

The Seahawks probably wanted Kayvon Thibodeaux, but taking the injury discount on Ojabo isn't a bad consolation prize. Ojabo has game-changing pass-rushing chops when healthy.

41. Seattle Seahawks: Matt Corral - QB, Mississippi

I suspect the Seahawks don't actually want Malik Willis. If they did, I think they would've traded up into the first round to secure him. Corral seems like the point guard type of QB Pete Carroll likes.

42. Indianapolis Colts: Bernhard Raimann - OT, Central Michigan

The Colts could consider QB here, but Raimann has starting LT potential.

NFL Draft Mock Round 2 - Picks #43-52

43. Atlanta Falcons: Malik Willis - QB, Liberty

As a Willis believer, his fall down the board is a bit concerning. Drake London and Kyle Pitts would be amazing young weapons to grow with.

44. Cleveland Browns: Travis Jones - DT, Connecticut

The Browns need a DT and Jones would be a steal here. He's this class' premiere run-stuffer.

45. Baltimore Ravens: Cameron Thomas - DL, San Diego State

The Ravens absolutely aced the first round and get an underrated DL here in Thomas, who can displace interior offensive lineman on the inside with great play strength.

46. Detroit Lions: Nakobe Dean - LB, Georgia

The Lions need a LB and would be ecstatic to land the speedy Dean here.

47. Washington Commanders: Jalen Pitre - S, Baylor

Washington was rumored to be interested in Kyle Hamilton, but getting their WR first and Pitre in the second is another way to address safety. Pitre is a versatile heat-seeking missile.

48. Chicago Bears: Dylan Parham - OG, Memphis

The Bears need to build their offensive line and Parham is one of my favorite guards in this class. He's physical at the point of attack and would immediately help Chicago's run game.

49. New Orleans Saints: Perrion Winfrey - DT, Oklahoma

The Saints need a DT and Winfrey dominated the Senior Bowl. He wasn't super productive at Oklahoma but has the physical traits to be disruptive.

50. Kansas City Chiefs: John Metchie III - WR, Alabama

Metchie is one of my favorite prospects in this class. A pure football player, his route-running, intelligence, and toughness would make him a potential future WR1 with Patrick Mahomes.

51. Philadelphia Eagles: Kyler Gordon - CB, Washington

The Eagles think they added All-Pro potential at DT and WR on night one. Gordon here would represent more great value as a first-round talent.

52. Pittsburgh Steelers: Jalen Tolbert - WR, South Alabama

JuJu Smith-Schuster and James Washington are gone, so the Steelers will probably take a WR at some point. They have had success with small school WRs in the past so Tolbert fits in as an explosive, productive playmaker.

NFL Draft Mock Round 2 - Picks #53-64

53. Green Bay Packers: Alec Pierce - WR, Cincinnati

Pierce just screams Packer. He's big, fast, physical, and would be an immediate contributor in a pedestrian receiving corps.

54. New England Patriots: Christian Harris - LB, Alabama

Harris to New England would be the least surprising pick of the entire draft. He fits Bill Belichick's style perfectly and obviously there's the Alabama connection.

55. Arizona Cardinals: Andrew Booth Jr. - CB, Clemson

The Cardinals paid a hefty price for Marquise Brown and still have needs on defense. Booth is arguably the best player on the board at No. 33, let alone down in the 50s. I think there are some medical concerns.

56. Dallas Cowboys: Jaquan Brisker - S, Penn State

The Cowboys need a safety and Brisker makes sense as a hard-hitting moveable chess piece.

57. Buffalo Bills Kenneth Walker III: - RB, Michigan State

The Bills play the board masterfully and still end up with a franchise RB. Walker is a special pure runner.

58. Atlanta Falcons: Joshua Paschal - EDGE, Kentucky

The Falcons need to build the defense and there's no better place to start than at EDGE. Paschal is an underrated prospect with some power on the edge.

59. Green Bay Packers: Luke Goedeke - OL, Central Michigan

Goedeke might actually be a better pro than teammate Bernhard Raimann. He offers positional versatility and excellent run-blocking potential.

60. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Trey McBride - TE, Colorado State

McBride is a natural receiver and the Bucs need a TE for the future. He could be a role player early in his career for Tom Brady.

61. San Francisco 49ers: Bryan Cook - S, Cincinnati

A dropped interception from a safety haunts the 49ers franchise. Cook is a solid prospect who can challenge for a starting role right away.

62. Kansas City Chiefs: Wan'Dale Robinson - WR, Kentucky

After addressing defense with their two first-rounders, the Chiefs double-tap WR in the second. Robinson obviously isn't Tyreek Hill, but he plays a similar style.

63. Cincinnati Bengals: Drake Jackson - EDGE, USC

The Bengals could address OL here, but they spent a lot on OL in free agency. Another option is to add to their pass rush. Jackson had some first-round hype so if he were to fall here, the Bengals would pounce.

64. Denver Broncos: Chad Muma - LB, Wyoming

Russell Wilson and the Broncos believe they are ready to compete for a Super Bowl right now. Adding a tackling machine like Muma makes sense.
