2025 Fantasy Football: Week 13 Waiver Wire Adds
Trey Benson, RB, Cardinals
Trey Benson should be at the top of your waiver list this week. The second-year RB has been on injured reserve with a knee injury he suffered back in Week 4. However, he was able to return to practice last week and was even in the mix to return on Sunday.
In his absence, the Cardinals have relied on a committee approach, but none of Michael Carter, Emari Demercado, or Bam Knight has been able to run away with the job. In fact, Demercado is also on the shelf with an ankle injury, which would open up an even larger role for Benson when active.
Benson has seen at least four targets in three of his four games this season, averaging a stellar 5.5 yards per carry. He is a must-start RB2 when active, as he should take on a three-down role in the desert.
Devin Neal, RB, Saints
The rookie was bumped up the depth chart following Kendre Miller's (knee) season-ending injury, but appears poised to make the leap to the starting role in Week 13. During the Saints' loss to the Falcons on Sunday afternoon, top running back Alvin Kamara exited with a knee injury and went for an MRI on Monday.
Given that he went for further testing, it does not bode well for his availability for Sunday's contest against the Miami Dolphins. In Kamara's absence, Neal took the lead, earning seven carries for 18 yards and catching five of his seven targets for 43 yards. While his modest 3.6 YPC may not scream high upside, seeing him earn seven targets on Sunday is very promising.
Facing the Dolphins, who have allowed the eighth-most PPR points to opposing RBs, makes Neal a viable plug-and-play RB2.
Chris Rodriguez Jr., RB, Commanders
The final running back to consider picking up this week is Chris Rodriguez. While the Commanders were on bye in Week 12, the 25-year-old enters Week 13 with surprisingly high momentum. In the team's Week 11 loss to the Dolphins, Rodriguez led the team in RB snaps and took 15 carries for 79 yards. This was the second time in his last three games in which he logged double-digit carries.
In addition, in Week 11, Rodriguez logged a hefty 45% of the snaps, compared to Jacory Croskey-Merritt's 27%. Over his last four games, Croskey-Merritt has seen his stock plummet, averaging a low 3.0 YPC over this stretch. This is Rodriguez's backfield now, and he should hold mid-end RB2 upside going forward.

Jayden Higgins, WR, Texans
The rookie wideout has begun to finally carve out a role in Houston. Over his last five games, the second-round pick has found the back of the end zone three times and has brought in 18 of his 32 targets for 173 yards. During this stretch, he is averaging 10.7 PPR fantasy points per game.
Since Week 10, Higgins has had an even larger role, seeing at least seven targets per game and posting a solid 12.8 PPR points per game. While Nico Collins remains the clear alpha in this offense, Higgins has now out-snapped Christian Kirk in each of his last three contesrs. He is a viable FLEX play down the stretch and has a prime matchup against a weak Indianapolis secondary in Week 13.

Chimere Dike, WR, Titans
With Calvin Ridley (lower leg) out for the season and Elic Ayomanor (hamstring) sidelined, Chimere Dike led the passing attack in Week 12. During the Titans' loss to the Seahawks, Dike caught five of his seven targets for 44 yards and a touchdown. In this game, he also tallied his second punt return touchdown of the campaign.
Over his last five games, Dike has hit the double-digit PPR fantasy point mark three times, despite playing in one of the worst passing attacks in the sport. However, he has caught at least four passes in three games during this stretch and has shown immense upside on special teams.
Given his projected volume, he is a must-roster in all 3-WR formats.
Jayden Reed, WR, Packers
Like Benson, Reed is another must-stash injured player. Reed has been on the shelf since suffering a foot/shoulder injury back in Week 2. However, Reed returned to practice on Friday, suggesting his return is near. Before the injury, Reed flashed immense upside in Week 1, catching three of his five targets for 45 yards and a score.
With Tucker Kraft (knee) done for the year, the top pass-catching role on this team is still open. Christian Watson has shown flashes as a deep threat option, but Reed has a clear path to settle in as the primary slot WR.

Colston Loveland, TE, Bears
The final player to consider adding this week is tight end Colston Loveland. Loveland was a top pickup following his breakout showing in Week 9 when he tallied 110 yards and two touchdowns. However, since then, Loveland has fallen under double-digit PPR points in back-to-back outings, leading to him being cut in standard leagues.
However, he quickly bounced back on Sunday, catching four of his nine targets for 49 yards and his third touchdown of the season. While the Chicago pass-catching room is crowded, Loveland has begun to carve out a prominent role and will have TE1 upside in all matchups going forward.
