NFL rookie Zack Moss is a 2020 running back sleeper and fantasy football ADP draft value pick. Target him as an undervalued RB in your fantasy football drafts.
BALLER MOVE: Target Around ~108 Overall
CURRENT ADP: ~123
ANALYSIS: The Bills drafted Zack Moss with the 86th overall pick of the 2020 draft, making the Utah product a third-rounder in doing so. In the past 10 years, 18 of 25 third-round RBs have rushed the ball 70+ times in their rookie years, so chances are that even with Singletary in town Moss will have his opportunities and touches. Look no further than PFF projections, which have Moss projected to 106 rushing attempts (23.4% share) and 126 opportunities as a whole (14.2% share among all skill-position Bills).
Moss fits the power-runner mold compared to Devin Singletary, who is more elusive and dangerous as a receiver. Some may scoff at a few TD vultures here and there, but I fear many have internalized the Patriots dynasty and put an unfair ceiling cap on the 2020 Bills. We may see Buffalo circle the wagons in dominant fashion with a stellar defense and revamped offense (hello, Stefon Diggs!), leading to several second-half rushing parades with a healthy lead.
I won’t argue with anyone calling Josh Allen the “true” goal-line back, but I’m not projecting him to repeat nine ground TDs, even less with the likes of Singletary and now Moss too in the backfield. If Moss inspires confidence early then he could run away with the valuable goal-line looks as a flex play. And he’s capable of carrying the full workload should anything happen to Singletary. Contributing pseudo-handcuffs are pristine assets, and Moss getting off draft boards as the RB43 definitely feels low for what he can offer to fantasy GMs.
