Fantasy Football Matchup Outlooks
Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider starting in Week 5:
Stefon Diggs, WR, New England Patriots
New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs was on the field for 31 out of 49 offensive snaps in Sunday's blowout win over the Panthers.
His 69% snap share was the highest of the season, resulting in his best game as a Patriot. Diggs caught six of his team-leading seven targets for 101 yards. Considering Drake Maye only threw 17 passes on the day, Diggs accounted for over 40% of the team's target share.
Still less than a year removed from surgery to repair his torn ACL, Diggs could soon become a weekly play, rewarding fantasy managers who were able to hold onto him through a slow start to the season.
Chris Godwin, WR, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Chris Godwin wasn't exactly eased back into the offense in his season debut in the Week 4 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, as he was targeted a team-high-tying 10 times.
Godwin came down with only three catches for 26 yards, but it was a good sign to see him play 81% of the offensive snaps in his first game since dislocating his ankle in Week 7 of last year. It helped that top wideout Mike Evans (hamstring) was inactive in this game, but the main takeaway is that Godwin is a full-go moving forward and should have WR2 upside for a Week 5 tilt against the hosting Seattle Seahawks this Sunday.
The injured veteran, Mike Evans, is expected to miss multiple games, so Godwin should be heavily targeted once again as he gets his legs under him in a pass-happy offense.
Wan'Dale Robinson, WR, New York Giants
New York Giants wide receiver Wan'Dale Robinson has recorded 18 catches for 237 yards and a touchdown on 27 targets so far in 2025. With star Giants wideout Malik Nabers (knee) set to miss the rest of the season after tearing his ACL in Week 4, Robinson could see a significant uptick in targets going forward.
In the two games that Nabers missed in 2024, Robinson recorded 11 catches for 86 yards and a touchdown on 20 targets. The 24-year-old has been far more efficient on a per-catch basis in 2025 than he was last season, so he could be well-positioned to do damage if his targets spike as expected.
In all fantasy leagues where he's not already rostered, Robinson should be a priority waiver-wire addition ahead of the Giants Week 5 matchup against the New Orleans Saints.
Darius Slayton, WR, New York Giants
New York Giants wide receiver Darius Slayton recorded three catches for 44 yards on four targets in his team's 21-18 Week 4 win over the Los Angeles Chargers.
Slayton has just nine catches for 135 yards on 12 targets so far in 2025, but he's likely to see a major uptick in target volume with star Giants wideout Malik Nabers (knee) likely out for the remainder of the season with what could be a torn ACL. In the two games Nabers missed in 2024, Slayton recorded 14 catches for 179 yards and a touchdown on 22 targets.
Giants wide receiver Wan'Dale Robinson should also see more work in the passing game, but Slayton is the more explosive downfield threat. Slayton should be added in all fantasy leagues with 12 or more teams ahead of a favorable Week 5 matchup against the New Orleans Saints.
Jordan Addison, WR, Minnesota Vikings
Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison put together a productive performance in his return to the field on Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers, hauling in four passes for 114 yards in the Vikings' 24-21 defeat.
Playing in his first game after a three-week suspension, the third-year receiver nearly had an even bigger day, but was tripped up at the one-yard line following an 81-yard catch in the fourth quarter. Addison saw an encouraging eight targets in the game and produced despite Minnesota's offensive struggles behind backup quarterback Carson Wentz.
The Vikings' biggest issue going forward will be injuries on the offensive line, which will have its hands full with the Cleveland Browns in Week 5.
