Who should I start for Week 18? Fantasy football outlooks for Garrett Wilson, Marvin Mims Jr., Jayden Reed. Our expert fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks.
The 2024 NFL regular season is nearly over. 18 of 32 teams will have their season end this weekend.
Meanwhile, 14 teams will enter the playoffs to win it all. More importantly, fantasy players are fighting for championships this week.
Should fantasy players start Garrett Wilson, Marvin Mims Jr., or Jayden Reed in Week 18? Let’s look at their fantasy outlooks.
Should I Start Garrett Wilson For Fantasy Football?
While the New York Jets have had an awful year, Wilson has been productive for fantasy players. He is the WR10 for the season, averaging 12.1 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. The third-year pro has seven receiving touchdowns this year, including one last week in the blowout loss to the Buffalo Bills.

The Jets have nothing to play for in Week 18. However, they can potentially play spoilers for the Miami Dolphins. Therefore, expect them to come out swinging on Sunday. Wilson had 114 receiving yards and 14.9 fantasy points in the matchup against the division rivals earlier this season.
Should I Start Marvin Mims Jr. For Fantasy Football?
Mims is the WR70 for the year, averaging 5.7 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. While the second-year pro had little fantasy value earlier this season, he has been on fire lately. Mims had eight receptions for 103 receiving yards, two touchdowns, and 26.2 fantasy points last week, setting season highs in several categories.

More importantly, the Denver Broncos must win on Sunday to secure a playoff spot. They face the Kansas City Chiefs, who will sit most of their key starters. Therefore, Mims is a solid WR3 or flex option for fantasy players.
Should I Start Jayden Reed For Fantasy Football?
Reed started the season on fire, totaling 23.6 or more half-point PPR fantasy points in his first two games with Jordan Love under center. However, the second-year pro has struggled after his hot start. He is the WR24 for the year, averaging 10.3 fantasy points per game.
The former Michigan State star has six receiving touchdowns, ranking second on the team behind Tucker Kraft (seven). Unfortunately, fantasy players can’t trust Reed in Week 18 against the Chicago Bears. He has averaged 4.8 fantasy points per game over the past month, scoring 1.1 or fewer twice, including last week.
