Jonathan Taylor Injury Update

Taylor (ankle) was diagnosed with a mild high-ankle sprain following the Week 4 game and then was sidelined for Week 5 against the Jaguars. Given the nature of the injury, it’s possible he could miss a few more weeks as he recovers.

Fantasy managers need to continue to monitor his status and practice reports as he tries to have a rapid recovery. It's only Tuesday, but managers should prepare for Taylor to miss at least one more week before returning to the field.

Jonathan Taylor Fantasy Football Outlook

Once Jonathan Taylor returns from his ankle injury, he should be considered a must-start and viewed as an RB1 in all fantasy formats.

Taylor has proven himself as one of the league’s most dynamic and consistent running backs, capable of delivering huge performances both on the ground and in the passing game. His ability to rack up yardage and score touchdowns makes him an elite fantasy option when healthy.

Despite the time missed due to injury, Taylor’s talent and workload make him a top-tier fantasy asset, and managers should feel confident plugging him back into their lineups as a weekly RB1 once he's fully recovered.

Until he returns, Trey Sermon will continue to be the lead back.
