When Will Greg Zuerlein Return and Be Back? Fantasy Football Injury Update for Week 11 (2024)

When will Greg Zuerlein return and play? Will Greg Zuerlein be back again this season? Read the latest Greg Zuerlein injury updates and return date for Week 11 (2024).

The 2024 season has been nothing short of a disaster for the New York Jets, and fantasy managers are feeling the impact. Sitting at 3-7, this team has struggled in all areas, and it’s tough to find reliable fantasy production.

Kicker Greg Zuerlein, who’s usually a solid fantasy option, went on injured reserve with a knee injury, and even before that, he was just 9 of 15 on field goal attempts with only 13 extra points made. Those numbers tell the story of a stagnant offense, and it’s a harsh fall for a player once known for his consistency.

So, when should we expect Zuerlein to return from injured reserve and play again?

Greg Zuerlein Injury Update

The Jets had hoped to contend this season, but their season quickly spiraled out of control, leading to the firing of head coach Robert Saleh after a 2-3 start. The organization promoted defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich to be the interim head coach, but the move hasn’t changed much on the field.

It’s clear this team is lacking direction, and without a true leader at the helm, they’re floundering on both sides of the ball. Saleh’s departure only underscores how much of a mess this season has been and how quickly the team’s high hopes have faded.

At the heart of the disappointment is quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who’s looking like a shadow of his former self. Once a fantasy staple, Rodgers seems completely done, struggling to move the offense downfield and lacking the spark that once made him great. There’s even talk that retirement could be on the horizon for him, and fantasy managers who took a shot on Rodgers this season have been burned.

The Jets tried to reignite his career by trading for veteran wide receiver Davante Adams, but even that reunion hasn’t panned out. Without a solid quarterback leading the charge, Adams’ fantasy value is fading, and the offense as a whole looks directionless.

Greg Zuerlein Fantasy Football Outlook

The Jets’ season is essentially a free-for-all at this point, with no real fantasy standouts and little hope for a turnaround. Even their recent additions aren’t providing the boost they hoped for. Injuries, poor performances, and constant turnover in leadership have left this roster in shambles, making it hard to trust any Jets players for fantasy. It’s a team that fantasy managers should mostly avoid if they’re looking for stability.

For Week 11, the Jets are scraping the bottom of the barrel, and it’s hard to recommend any of their players as reliable fantasy options. With Zuerlein out, Rodgers looking done, and the team lacking a clear direction, it’s best to look elsewhere for fantasy production.
