AJ Brown - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, NFL Injury News

When is A.J. Brown coming back? Will A.J. Brown play again this season? Read about A.J. Brown's return date and injury updates for 2024 as of Week 3.

Philadelphia Eagles star wideout A.J. Brown has been one of the best offensive players in the NFL since entering the league. In Week 1, Brown showed no signs of slowing down as he recorded five catches for 119 yards and one touchdown in a win over the Green Bay Packers.

Unfortunately, Brown tweaked his leg earlier this week and has become questionable. Fantasy managers are surely wondering when Brown is expected to return.

When is Brown coming back to action? What is his fantasy football outlook when he returns? Let's dive in.

A.J. Brown Injury Update for Fantasy Football

A.J. Brown (hamstring) revealed that he will likely miss a couple of weeks following the hamstring injury he suffered during Week 1. Initially, there was hope he might recover in time to play Monday night against the Falcons, but on Sunday morning, the team officially ruled him out for Week 2.

The severity of the injury suggests he could be sidelined for an extended period, potentially missing multiple games as he focuses on his recovery.

While the exact timeline for his return remains uncertain, the team will likely proceed cautiously to ensure Brown doesn't reaggravate the injury and is fully healthy when he returns to the field.

A.J. Brown Fantasy Football Outlook

Brown will immediately be a must-start when he returns to action. Even if he's not 100% healthy, he should have WR1 upside. He has produced WR1 numbers in every game that he plays in.

While he's out, DeVonta Smith will continue to be the primary target for the Eagles, and wideout Jahan Dotson should give appeal in deeper leagues as he becomes the second option in the receiving game for quarterback Jalen Hurts.

Brown fantasy managers will have to try to survive in his absence, and hopefully, he will only be sidelined for a short amount of time. When he returns, he should immediately be inserted into your fantasy lineups.
