Wide Receivers Waiver Wire - Week 4 Pickups and Adds

This article will aim to highlight Week 4 waiver wire adds for wide receivers, players that you should consider targeting on your league's waiver wire if available. Wide Receivers will be split up into three tiers - from most desirable, to most desperate.

If you are not sure who you should add or have a specific question about your league, find me on twitter @ChrisMangano and I will be more than happy to help you out.

Once you're done here, be sure to read about even more Week 4 waiver wire analysis columns, with in-depth analysis for all fantasy-relevant positions.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

Frontrunners for Week 4 - Waiver Wire Wide Receivers

This group consists of wide receivers that I would recommend adding if they are available on your waiver wire. Some are more viable for PPR formats, so take note of that. These players have either earned a greater workload due to injury/performance issues or have shown that they can be weekly contributors to their NFL teams. All players listed have 50% or less ownership levels across fantasy leagues.

Marqise Lee (WR, JAX) 47% owned

Lee is still only owned in 47% of the leagues and is a priority add for those who are hurting at the position. Lee was targeted a team high seven times, including two in the end zone. He is now the Jaguars' clear number one receiver and needs to be owned in all leagues. Check if he is still on waivers in your league.

Sterling Shepard (WR, NYG) 35% owned

Even before Shepard broke off his huge 77 yard touchdown grab, he had a touchdown overturned on a dubious process-of-the-catch ruling and just missed another touchdown when he was stopped inches short. He saw 10 targets on Sunday and the Giants' inability to run the ball will keep them throwing often. Shepard should continue to see plenty of work and will be an asset in PPR leagues.

Mohamed Sanu (WR, ATL) 32% owned

Sanu is quietly putting together a solid season. He has seen nine, six and six targets in the first three games and has scored at least 10 PPR-league points in every game so far. He is the clear number two opposite Julio Jones in a high powered offense. While his upside is somewhat limited, you should still grab him if he's available.

In The Running - Week 4 Waiver Wire Wide Receivers

This group consists of wide receivers widely available on the waiver wire who aren't must-adds, but could be worth stashing or streaming if the above options are already taken.

Allen Hurns (WR, JAX) 38% owned

Hurns only saw three targets on Sunday but did haul in a five-yard touchdown. The Jaguars attacked the Ravens with tight end Mercedes Lewis but that likley won't happen again. Hurns is the clear number two alongside Lee and needs to be owned as well.

Devin Funchess (WR, CAR) 20% owned

Funchess was a suggested add last week after it was announced Greg Olsen would be out 6-8 weeks with a broken foot. While he did see 10 targets on Sunday, he only caught four passes for 58 yards. Still, if he is going to see that kind of volume he should not be on waivers. As long as Olsen is out Funchess will have value.

Kenny Britt (WR, CLE) 44% owned

Britt was dropped in a lot of leagues, but it looks like he will be the team's number one receiver with Corey Coleman out. He led the team with 10 targets on Sunday, but only caught three passes for 54 yards but did have a touchdown. He'll likely remain very inefficient but the targets will be there and he appears to be Kizer's number one target now.

Dark Horses - Week 4 Wide Receivers Waiver Wire

This group consists of wide receivers who are more of a desperation play. They could serve as a bye week fill-in, short-term injury replacement or weekly lottery ticket.

Geronimo Allison (WR, GB) 9% owned

With Randall Cobb out, Allison Allison caught six passes for 122 yards in the Packers overtime win Sunday. With this being a short week, the Packers play on Thursday night, Cobb may not be ready which would put Allison back in play. He's worth a stash if you have the bench space.

Josh Doctson (WR, WAS) 6% owned

Doctson only saw two targets on Sunday, but one of them was a 52 yard touchdown catch. The encouraging thing for Doctson is he has seen his snaps increase each game from 32% in Week 1 to 53% in Week 3. While he is still at best the fourth or fifth option on this team, he is worth a stash in case that changes.

Kenny Stills (WR, MIA) 29% owned

After seeing five targets in Week 2, Stills saw 10 on Sunday hauling in four catches for 57 yards. Cutler loves to throw deep, and Stills already has six targets 20 yards or more downfield, second on the team. While he won't give your team a safe floor, he has that huge ceiling that can be valuable at times off your bench.
