Tua Tagovailoa's fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 14 (2023). Our advice on whether you should start or sit Tua Tagovailoa for fantasy lineups.
BALLER MOVE: Start in All Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: QB1
ANALYSIS: Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa currently has the third-best MVP odds on FanDuel and has been having a dominant season en route to a 9-3 record. The 25-year-old ranks 111th in average points per game among active quarterbacks, getting 18.4 points per game.
Tagovailoa finished with 19.2 points in Week 13 after going 18-of-24 for 280 yards and two touchdowns in the blowout win over the Commanders. This marked the seventh time the Dolphins' quarterback finished with at least 18 fantasy points this year, but he's yet to have more than the 28 points he scored in Week 1.
The Dolphins take on the Titans in Week 14 on Monday Night Football, who allow the 18th-most points per game to quarterbacks this season. However, the Titans rank in the bottom three in defensive dropback success rate, but they are top 10 in defensive rushing success rate.
Teams have been exploiting the Titans' weak secondary all season, and the Dolphins should have no issue continuing with their explosive ways. Tagovailoa is a solid QB1 option due to the possibility of a poor game script if the Dolphins jump ahead, but he has real upside against a weak Titans' pass defense if it remains close.
