Tua Tagovailoa's fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 12 (2023). Our advice on whether you should start or sit Tua Tagovailoa for fantasy lineups.
BALLER MOVE: Start in 14-Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: QB2
ANALYSIS: Usually, Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tua Tagovailoa is a clear QB1 option in fantasy. He's got arguably the best one-two punch at wide receiver in the NFL with Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle and he plays in an offense where he can rack up passing yards.

However, his stock takes a bit of a drop this week as the Dolphins are set to play a Friday afternoon contest against the New York Jets. The Jets allow the ninth-fewest fantasy points in the NFL to opposing quarterbacks, plus the game script for this one might end up meaning that the Dolphins take the air out of the ball for much of the second half. New York is starting Tim Boyle at quarterback, something that could really stall out the team's offense.
That's not to say that Tua Tagovailoa doesn't have upside. He threw for 325 yards last week against the Raiders, for example, and he has six games this season with multiple touchdown passes.
Still, Tagovailoa's floor is a little lower this week than it might usually be and with all 32 NFL teams in action, there are players with higher floors and ceilings that you can start in one-QB leagues.
