Today's PrizePicks NBA DFS Prop Picks - Over/Under Props for Sunday, April 2nd

Today's PrizePicks NBA DFS prop picks for Sunday, April 2nd by Biggie Lisbon. Use his NBA over/under props recommendations to win money on PrizePicks.

Welcome to our PrizePicks NBA DFS prop picks for Sunday, April 2nd, 2023. The 2022-2023 NBA season is rolling along, and our friends over at PrizePicks still have a TON of great props we can look to take advantage of. PrizePicks is a great DFS props site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power play or the flex play. On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back.

Our partners at PrizePicks offer some of the best and easiest-to-win NBA DFS games in the industry. There are no large-field tournaments filled with sharks where you have to get lucky just to place. At PrizePicks, you're not playing against other people, you're just playing against the projections, and the guys at PrizePicks have worked hard to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money. With promo code 'BALLER' you can get a 100% match on your deposit of up to $100.

PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game. The second game is known as Single Stat. For NBA, Single Stat consists of points, rebounds, assists, three-pointers made, and free throws made, in which you determine if the player in question will go over or under their projected total. You can mix and match players from each type of game in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Today, we will look at some single-stat scores for Sunday, April 2.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

Single Stat NBA Totals - DFS Prop Picks

Note: PrizePicks prop totals are not always available first thing in the morning, so check back during the day as other props may be added during the day.

Domantas Sabonis OVER 21.5 1h PRA

I'll kick off today's slate with Domantas Sabonis's 1h PRA prop. Sabonis has been on absolute fire lately, going over this projection in all six of his last six games, averaging 24.1 1h PRA during that span.

Tonight, the Sacramento Kings face the San Antonio Spurs, the team that allows the points scored to opponents. After trading Jakob Poeltl, the Spurs have no one at all to stop Sabonis. In his last two appearances against the Spurs, Sabonis logged for 28 and 26 1h PRA, absolutely dominating in the first half.

I expect to see Zach Collins on Sabonis tonight, which is no matchup for Sabonis to be afraid of. Sabonis should look to keep the streak going against the extremely weak defense of the Spurs and bring home the money for us tonight.

(I like this up to 22.5 if bumped)

Ja Morant OVER 24.5 Points

Next, let's take a look at Ja Morant's points prop. Morant has been over this number in two of his last five games, averaging 21.6 points during that span. Morant is coming off one of his worst game of the year, finishing with just 10 points, and I expect a major comeback game from the Grizzlies' young star.

Tonight, the Memphis Grizzlies face the Chicago Bulls, a very favorable matchup for Morant as he has gone over this projection in all three of the last three games while facing them, averaging 35 points during that span. The books have Morant at -125 odds to go over 24.5 points, while many others have him listed at 25.5 at even odds, giving us a one-point margin here.

I expect Morant to put on a crazy bounce-back performance, and this number just seems too low considering the matchup.

(I like this up to 25 if bumped)

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander OVER 30.5 Points

Lastly, I'll be taking a look at Shai Gilgeous-Alexander's. Gilgeous-Alexander has exceeded this projection in three of his last five games, averaging 31.6 points during that span.

Tonight, the Oklahoma City Thunder face the Phoenix Suns, and they are fighting for their lives for a spot in the playoffs right now, so I expect Gilgeous-Alexander to play a full workload and give it his all. In the last two games that Gilgeous-Alexander faced the Suns, he finished with 40 and 32 points, so this matchup looks good as long as the game can stay close.

The books have Gilgeous-Alexander at -145 odds to go over 30.5 points, while others have him listed at 31.5 points with even odds, giving us a one-point margin. I expect Gigleous-Alexander to ball out tonight and keep the game competitive against the Suns.

(I like this up to 31 if bumped)
