Daily NBA Picks - Top Player Props and NBA Odds (1/19/26)

Ivica Zubac - Fantasy Basketball Waiver Wire, NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Keith Eyster's top NBA prop bets for 1/19/26. Expert player-prop picks, value plays, quick model edges, and line-shopping tips for today’s slate. Check odds & get the edge.

Welcome back to another edition of RotoBaller's NBA Props! There are nine games on the schedule for Martin Luther King Jr. Day today, including four nationally televised games throughout the day.

Key injuries of note on today's slate include: Jalen Williams (out), Kawhi Leonard (out), Cooper Flagg (questionable), Jalen Brunson (questionable), Joel Embiid (questionable), and Devin Booker (questionable). There are always a lot of more injury statuses announced in the afternoon hours, so make sure you are monitoring that information as closely as possible.

In this article, I will provide my favorite NBA player props picks for Monday, January 19th. Prop picks can range from individual stats, such as points, assists, rebounds, three-pointers made, and defensive statistics, to combination props (Points + Rebounds + Assists = PRA). All odds and sportsbooks used are listed, but it's always a good idea to shop around, as odds change throughout the day as bets are placed. Alright, let's get to the picks already!

Today’s Best NBA Picks for Player Props

Let’s take a look at the top player props for today’s NBA slate:

Tyrese Maxey over 28.5 Points (-116 DraftKings), (-109 NOVIG)

Sixers guard Tyrese Maxey is having an incredible season and is playing more minutes than anyone in the league. He's also averaging a career-best 30.3 points per game. He has had a couple of down games in a row against a stout Cleveland defense, but he gets an excellent spot tonight against the Pacers. Indiana plays at a top-10 pace, and they rank just 18th in defensive efficiency.

Additionally, both Joel Embiid and Paul George are listed as questionable tonight on the front end of a back-to-back. They both rested on the front side of Philadelphia's last back-to-back, and we could see a similar load management situation play out tonight. Even if both of them play, it's a great matchup for Maxey, and he should get back on track with another big scoring performance.

Ivica Zubac over 27.5 Points + Rebounds (-112 Bet365), (-139 NOVIG)

Clippers center Ivica Zubac has seen a slight decline in his career-best numbers from a season ago, but he's still averaging a healthy 14.9 points and 10.8 rebounds per game. Kawhi Leonard has been ruled out for this game, and Zubac has been even more productive with Leonard off the floor this season. In ten games with Leonard inactive, Zubac has averaged 16.4 points and 12.1 rebounds per game.

In addition to the boost in production with Leonard off the floor, Zubac also gets one of the best possible matchups. Washington plays at the seventh-fastest pace and ranks 29th in defensive efficiency, allowing the second-most points and rebounds in the league.

Zubac posted 30 combined points and rebounds last game against Toronto with Leonard out, and he gets an even better matchup today.

How Does Novig Work?

Since users are not playing against the books, there is an opportunity to make more money per wager that you win, and users can usually find better values on bets (in terms of the prices being offered) than on traditional sportsbooks.

There are no oddsmakers; users dictate their own odds. You can either accept the odds that the market is offering or set your own odds. If you set your own odds, another user has to accept them on the other side for the bet to be activated.

For example, if you set the odds of Jaylen Brown to go over 29.5 points at -110, then anyone can flip the bet and take the under on his points prop at +110. Users drive the market, not the sportsbook or oddsmakers!

Top NBA Value Picks and Sleeper Props

Betting on superstars is always exciting, but the best value often lies in the margins of a roster. Role players and emerging contributors can offer hidden edges, especially as the season wears on and injuries start to shake up rotations. We don't want to wager only on superstars; it's often the role-players and less-known players who may offer us the best markets.

Let’s dive into some of the top value plays for today’s NBA slate.

Jaylon Tyson over 13.5 Points (-115 Bet365)

Cavaliers wing Jalen Tyson is coming off one of the best games of his career last time out against Philadelphia, in which he dropped 39 points in 38 minutes. Darius Garland and Sam Merrill have once again been ruled out for the Cavs, so Tyson should see another massive role here against OKC. In seven games with Garland and Merrill inactive this season, Tyson has posted a usage rate above 22% and averaged 22.4 points per game. It is a tough matchup against the league's best defense, but Tyson should start and be a key piece of the offense once again.

Naji Marshall over 15.5 Points (-120 DraftKings)

The Dallas Mavericks have one of the longest injury reports in the league today. Anthony Davis, PJ Washington, Daniel Gafford, and D'Angelo Russell have already been ruled out, and Cooper Flagg is listed as questionable to play. Naji Marshall has been one of Dallas' most consistent performers as they have been hit with multiple injuries. Over his last four games, he's averaged 21.0 points per game, and he's scored at least 16 points in each game. Flagg was active for two of those games, so Marshall can easily clear this line even if Flagg can play.

Julian Champagnie over 12.5 Points (-122 FanDuel), (-134 NOVIG)

Julian Champagnie has started the last 10 games for San Antonio in place of the injured Devin Vassell. He's filled in admirably, averaging 15.8 points per game. Even if we leave off an outlier 36-point performance that he's unlikely to repeat, his scoring average still sits at 13.6 points, and he's scored at least 12 points in six of those other nine games.

Tonight's matchup sets up perfectly for Champagnie, as Utah plays at the third-fastest pace and ranks dead last in defensive efficiency. Utah also allows the most three-pointers in the league, and Champagnie scores nearly 64% of his points from beyond the arc.
