Veteran kicker Zane Gonzalez is signing with the Atlanta Falcons, according to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network. Atlanta is also waiving kicker Parker Romo, who missed a critical extra point in the team's 24-23 Week 9 loss to the New England Patriots. Gonzalez will be the Falcons' third different kicker so far this season, as the team also moved on from longtime kicker Younghoe Koo after Koo had his own late-game struggles earlier this year. Gonzalez has appeared in 69 games for four different NFL teams across six seasons. In six games for the Washington Commanders in 2024, Gonzalez made five of seven field goal attempts and all 19 of his extra-point tries.
