Yordan Alvarez Fighting Through Slump
5 years agoHouston Astros designated hitter Yordan Alvarez is stuck in his first major league slump heading into Saturday's action. Alvarez is 3-for-26 (.115) over his last seven games with 12 strikeouts. He has only one extra-base hit over his last 30 at-bats after slugging .670 in the month of August. The rookie has been so fantastic offensively right out of the gate that a few struggles should not be a surprise. But fantasy owners are hoping he can turn it around, as the fantasy playoffs are in full swing in many leagues right now.
