Wilmer Font Slated To Start For Mets

Originally, the New York Mets were going to deploy Drew Gagnon as their opener for tonight's game, but now they have turned to Wilmer Font to take the ball first. Font has made two starts this season for the Mets, in which he went four innings (60 pitches) against the Padres and 2 1/3 innings against the Nationals (63 pitches). It seems as if Font is on more of a pitch count limit rather than an innings limit, but starting him on your team is not for the faint of heart, as he has a 7.08 ERA over 20 1/3 innings on the season.
