Tyler Anderson Scratched from Tuesday's Start
Tyler Anderson (back) has been scratched from his scheduled start on Tuesday against the Los Angeles Dodgers due to back stiffness, per Erica Weston of FanDuel Sports Network West. Right-hander Victor Mederos will be called up from Triple-A to take his place. It's unclear how long Anderson's injury will keep him sidelined. In 122 1/3 innings (23 starts) this season, the 35-year-old is 2-7 with a 4.63 ERA, 1.40 WHIP, and 97 strikeouts. In 87 2/3 innings (16 starts) at Triple-A Salt Lake this season, Mederos is 7-5 with a 3.39 ERA, 1.33 WHIP, and 71 strikeouts.
