The Arizona Coyotes came away victorious in the organization’s pursuit of former league MVP Taylor Hall. The New Jersey Devils received three prospects and two draft picks in the deal for the pending free agent. Hall is having a modest season to date but could see a spike in production as he moves to a team in playoff contention. He’s expected to play on the top line in Arizona with Phil Kessel and Christian Dvorak, which could have a nice impact on both those players’ stats moving forward. Hall is also a power-play stud so he should help there, as well. Hall is the type of selfless player that could really jumpstart Kessel, who has a disappointing 19 points but is just one year removed from an 82-point season. Dvorak was already barrelling towards a career-high in points and could now have a 50-point season in his sights. --Marc Hulet - RotoBaller
