The San Antonio Spurs have added shooting guard Devin Vassell to the fray with the 11th overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft. Known as a two-way wing, Vassell should immediately fit in as a three-and-D guy at the game's highest level, having shot 41.7 percent from long range during his two collegiate seasons at Florida State. It's unlikely that Vassell will start out of the gate for a Spurs squad that's deep in terms of backcourt depth, but he should at the very least be a solid cog in the team's rotation. Having averaged 1.4 steals per contest as a sophomore, he could garner some appeal in deep season-long category formats. Check back ahead of the season to see how his development comes along.--Jesse BorekRead More News
