University of Utah offensive tackle Spencer Fano has been selected ninth overall in the 2026 NFL Draft by the Cleveland Browns. Fano played both left and right tackle during his college career, so the Browns could deploy him on either side of the line. The Cleveland quarterback situation is currently unsettled, with veteran Deshaun Watson and second-year signal-callers Shedeur Sanders and Dillon Gabriel all in the mix for the starting role. Regardless of who wins the job, Fano's presence in Cleveland should make their life easier. Fano should also improve the situation for Browns running back Quinshon Judkins (knee), who flashed high upside as a rookie in 2025 before going down with a season-ending injury.--Will Brady
