Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Sean Tucker is slated to open training camp as the third back behind Bucky Irving and Rachaad White. The 23-year-old took advantage of the limited opportunity he had in 2024, especially in Week 6 against New Orleans when he had his highest snap share of the season. He posted over 190 total yards from scrimmage and scored two touchdowns, a feat that only six other running backs and receivers accomplished all season. His advanced metrics were among the best on a per touch basis, leading the running back position with a 16 percent Explosive Rush rate while also having the lowest rate of being tackled for a loss at two percent, per SumerSports. He is a more talented back than Rachaad White, but White serves a valuable role in pass protection and as a receiver.
