Sammy Stafura Enjoys Breakout Game with New Club
Sammy Stafura enjoyed a breakout game with his new club on Friday evening. Stafura was included in the package that sent Ke'Bryan Hayes to Cincinnati shortly before the trade deadline. After going 0-for-4 with two strikeouts in his Low-A Bradenton debut, Stafura would go 3-for-4 with a double and a triple on Friday evening during his second game. Through 88 games with Cincinnati's Low-A affiliate (Dayton), Stafura would hold a solid .262/.393/.411 slash line with an .804 OPS, 18 doubles, four home runs, and 28 stolen bases. He was drafted by the Reds in the second round of the 2024 MLB Draft out of Walter Panas HS. Fantasy managers should expect the 20-year-old to likely remain at Low-A through most of the second half.
