Sam Hilliard Evaluated For A Concussion
3 years agoColorado Rockies outfielder Sam Hilliard was in concussion protocol after making a diving catch in the first game of Wednesday's doubleheader against the Miami Marlins. He missed Game 2 of Wednesday's doubleheader and was held out of Thursday's contest against the Atlanta Braves. The 28-year-old is day-to-day, and there's a possibility that he could land on the 7-day concussion injured list. Garrett Hampson has started the last games in centerfield while Hilliard is sidelined. Hampson should see an uptick in playing until Kris Bryant (back) or Hilliard returns to action and is mainly a speculative add in deep-league formats.
