Salvon Ahmed A Healthy Scratch Monday Night
3 years agoMiami Dolphins running back Salvon Ahmed is a healthy scratch on Monday night against the New Orleans Saints to wrap up Week 16 action. Ahmed was activated from the COVID-19 list last week but didn't play any snaps. The Dolphins will be running with Myles Gaskin, Duke Johnson, Phillip Lindsay and Jordan Scarlett in their backfield on Monday night. Johnson surprisingly had 20-plus touches, 100-plus rushing yards and two touchdowns in last week's win over the New York Jets, but he figures to cede more touches to Gaskin, who has been the team's primary RB most of the year, on Monday night. A potential timeshare between Gaskin and Johnson on Monday night limits both of their ceilings against a Saints run defense that has been stout this year.
