The 34-year-old worked a clean seventh inning, allowing one walk and recording one strikeout. The outing followed a blown save Saturday against the Tampa Bay Rays in his second opportunity of the season. Stanek will look to build on this performance and regain his manager's trust in high-leverage situations.
