Russell Wilson Underwhelms Following Superb Week 2
Russell Wilson completed 18 of 32 pass attempts for 160 yards, tossing two interceptions in his team's 22-9 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. Wilson cooked the Cowboys for a tremendous 450 yards and three TDs in Week 2, but struggled to get anything going against a much more formidable defense. It's encouraging to see the veteran utilize his legs, even if he isn't as spry as he once was, as even 20 rushing yards a week will modestly raise his fantasy floor. Unfortunately, owners will be subject to clunkers such as this one, but New York is a pass-friendly environment as of now, with the team airing it out at the sixth-highest rate (62.23%). Wilson is more of a mid-back-end streaming option in the right matchups. Next weekend's meeting with the staunch Chargers' defense doesn't project to be one of them.
