The Houston Rockets have traded up in the 2021 NBA Draft, sending two lottery-protected future firsts to the Thunder for the No. 16 pick. With that pick, Houston selected Turkey's Alperen Sengun, one of the most interesting prospects in this class. Sengun was dominant at times in Turkey last year, averaging 19.0 points, 8.7 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.6 blocks, and 1.3 steals on 63.2 percent shooting. Sengun is a versatile player who crashes the offensive glass, runs in transition, and can make plays with the ball in his hands. He's going to be a mismatch at the five, though he needs to work on defense and shooting, with some analysts concerned that his defense is so bad that he'll struggle to stick in the NBA. He probably won't be contributing a ton immediately, but this is an interesting long-term landing spot, as Houston needed a center.--Justin Carter - RotoBallerRead More News
