Robinson Cano's Injury Not As Serious As Last One
6 years agoNew York Mets second baseman Robinson Cano (quadriceps) said the tightness he felt in his quadriceps that forced him from the game on Wednesday isn't "even close" to the pain he felt in his leg during his initial injured list stint. Still, it's disappointing since the veteran infielder just came off the injured list before the game Wednesday. He's not in the lineup on Thursday and could still go back on the injured list. Cano has been a real disappointment for his fantasy owners in his first year in Queens, hitting .238/.284/.366 with three home runs, 15 runs and 14 RBI. If he goes back on the injured list, he's not a must-hold in mixed leagues.
