Ricky Stenhouse Jr. comes off two solid results at the road courses (Indianapolis and Watkins Glen). The question becomes can he keep the car on the track for a fourth consecutive race. That second Pocono run was brutal and resulted in a DNF along with the second Atlanta run. This is troubling for the JTG-Daugherty Racing driver. Stenhouse Jr. can finish in the mid-teens at Michigan but that offers no place differential. He will not lead a few laps more than likely so that mitigates point potential.
